Part 5
Few days later,Aarti heard sound of footsteps of someone.She looked at stairs and saw shobha who was looking tired.
Aarti(Worriedly): Maa... How is bare papa feeling now?
Shobha: He is feeling better now.
Aarti(with teary eyes): Maa i want to meet him..
Shobha(Hugged aarti): Beta he will come home today...U plzz eat something u have not eaten for two days.
Aarti(Wiped her tears): Maa i'm not feeling hungry right now..When bare papa will come back from hospital I will eat.
At Night,Pratap came back from hospital.Aarti quickly came down and hugged him.
Pratap: I have heard that U r not eating anything from two days...Chalo eat something infront of me.
Aarti nodded her head.Maansi brought food for aarti to eat.Pratap called Prateek.Aarti noticed that Prateek's eyes were swollen.
Pratap: My Prateek is strong boy na..So he will not cry now.
Pratap called everyone..
Pratap:Prateek and Yash try not to hurt ur sisters and mother..and remember shobha is like ur mother too...and if u all love me then don't hurt my yash..I love u all...Ab all of u go to sleep
Everyone went.Pratap saw that yash was still standing there.He was controlling his tears.Pratap hugged him.
Pratap:U r the best son...U have done everything to make us proud...Whenever i see u sacrificing for others..I feel like taking ur pain..But i guess now i can no longer do this.
Yash(With teary eyes): Dad plzz don't say this.
Pratap: Plzz listen beta..I can't say all this to anyone except u..I knw i don't need to say it to u but still never let maansi and vidhi feel that their father is no more...Prateek is careless but i knw u can handle him..and the most important thing never let shobha and aarti feel that they r alone in this house...I love aarti alot..I have promised my friend i would take care of aarti more than maansi and vidhi..I will fullfil all her wishes..Now i want to request u to do the same thing..I'm saying this to u b/c aarti is close to u...Try not to make her cry b/c i would feel her pain even if i will be dead.
Both of them started to cry.
Pratap:I wanted to see wedding of both maansi and aarti but i guess i would not be there ...
Yash(Controlling himself to not cry more): What will i do without u dad?
Pratap:I knw i have given all the responsibility to u but yash all my prayers r with u...I hope all ur wishes come true and u get a life partner who really loves u..Promise me that u will do all the stuffs i have told u.
Yash: I promise u dad I will fullfill all ur wishes..U will be alright dad...
Pratap: Ok now u go to sleep...I'm sleeping too.
Yash closed the lights of Pratap's room and left

Next day,aarti woke up with crying sounds from downstairs.She ran down and entered in Pratap's room.She did not want to believe it that he was no longer alive.She saw shobha,gayatri,maansi,vidhi and even prateek crying.Yash was just standing near the wall controlling himself.Aarti was still in state of shock.Shobha saw her and came close to her.She knew how aarti was so close to Pratap but aarti was showing no response.Suddenly she started to go upstairs but she became unconscious.Shobha shouted...After few hours she woke up and saw them taking Pratap's dead body for last rituals.She started to cry so hard...In evening,Yash and Prateek came back to home.
Yash: If dodo u love papa na then u would not cry and all of u plzz stop crying..It will hurt papa.
Aarti(hugged yash): How can bare papa do this to me..How can he make me orphan again...He should not do this to me..Who will love me now?...
She was crying so hard.It was hard for yash to control himself.He started to cry with her.His tears were falling in aarti's hair...Then he stopped hugging aarti..He was not able to say anything so he went to his room while aarti and maansi were crying together.

Four months passed, aarti was standing near window of her room and thinking abt how now she came to knw what was meaning of orphan.She heard shobha coming in room.
Aarti: maa why u had gone downstairs?Everything alright?
Shobha:...Yash's job has ended in two months...its hard to spend whole month in Bhaiyya's pension.. Poor yash he is trying his level best to get a job..Now telephone bell has come...I have money so i tried to give bhabi that money but she refused to take money and said yash would not like it...what is fault of yash..He has recently gave money for Prateek's fee which he had saved from his part time job.. ...whole responsibility is now on him...
Shobha's eyes became teary and aarti became sad.

Yash came in home.
Yash: Maa..Prateek has not come till now?
Gayatri: No he has not come till now..Is everything ok?
Yash(In serious mood): Yes.
He was about to go in his room when Prateek entered.
Yash(Angrily): Where were u?
Prateek(Looking down): I was at my friend's home.
Yash: Have u given ur fee?
Prateek: ..Yep.
Yash slapped Prateek hard.Gayatri put her hand on her heart.Aarti was damn afraid.No one had seen yash in that much anger before.
Yash(Very angry): I have given u money for the fee..But u have not submitted it instead u went to dinner with ur friend in a hotel..I was not expecting u to do this...Answer me why u did it Prateek?
Prateek(Looking down): I have not gone for dinner...actually i went to hotel to get some job...the money u have given were 4 thousand less than the fee.I did not want u to ask for more money as i knw how much u r struggling right now b/c of us..So i wanted to give fee after doing my own job.
Yash looked at him..feeling bad.He put hand on his cheek where he slapped and then put his hand on his head.
Yash: I'm really sorry.
Then he went to his room.

At 12:00 pm next day, Everyone was worried that yash still had not come home.Suddenly Yash came in..
Shobha(Angrily): Where were u?? we were so worried.
Yash: I was with one friend..I have got a job.
Everyone felt relieved.
Prateek: Bhaiya where did u get the job?
Yash: In london... (Everyone shocked) Actually my friend offered it long back at that time i did not feel like taking it but now i think so its the best option..He has sponsored me..He has done all arrangements.
Gayatri started to cry.
Yash(hugging her): Mom don't cry..I will come back
Gayatri: I would not let u go so far..We need u here.
Yash: Mom try to understand i don't have any other option...I don't want Prateek to do job than concentrating on his studies..I don't want anyone of u to sacrifice ur small wishes.
Prateek(Looking down): Bhaiyya u did it for me..
Yash: No Prateek..I have done this for all of u so don't feel bad...if all of u will act like this how will i fullfil my promise with dad to keep all of u happy..
He then looked at aarti who was controlling her tears.
Yash(said to shobha): Don't worry chachi aarti is my responsibility
