Akaash visits a bronze sculptor

Akaash is on a business trip to Mumbai and is visiting the local sculptors to buy a gift for Radha ma. One day he wanders into a back-alley bronze shop of Mumbai famous Dadar area.
Picking through the bronze sculptures of the Gods and Godesses he discovers a detailed bronze sulpture of a rat (or mushika the divine vehicle of Lord Ganesh). The sculpture is so fascinating and unique that he picks it up and asks the shop owner the price.
Shop Owner: Saheb that idol is vested with tantric powers. Fifty thousand rupees for the idol and an extra five lakhs for the story regarding the special powers vested in it.
Akaash: At that price you can spare me the tales of vested powers - but I'll take this bronze rat.
Completing the transaction, Akaash leaves the store with the bronze rat under his arm. As he comes out from the store, fifty live rats emerge from the surrounding stores and fall into step with him. A bit scared now, Akaash begins to walk faster, but as he passes the various stores, houses and sewers, more rats come out and follow him. By the time he has walked a kilometer at least three thouand rats are at his heels. and all the passers by are beginning to point at him and shout or blow their horn while all traffic comes to a halt.
He starts walking even faster and soon breaks into a brisk jog as countless rats swarm from the different gulleys, sewers, hutments, railway stations, parks and buildings... following him.
Rats by the millions - perhaps billions are at his heels. In front of him Akaash spies the vast Mumbai seashore. Literally panicking Akaash runs at his fastest speed. No matter how fast he runs the rats keep up with him their collective squeals overpowering all other noise.
Heart palpitating Akaash scans the waterfront and heads for a coconut tree swaying by the beachside. Making a mighty leap he clings to the trunk of the coconut tree and starts climbing it by pulling his legs up. Grasping the trunk of the coconut tree with one arm, he hurls the bronze statue of the rat as powerfully as he can far out into the sea. Clinging to the tree Akaash watches in amazement as the seething herd of countless rats rush into the sea where they drown.
Breathless and shaken Akaash comes down the coconut tree and goes back to the bronze shop.
Shop Owner: Ah saheb! You have come back to know about the powers vested in that idol.
Akaash: No, I have come to commission you to make another bronze sculpture vested with similar tantric powers - only this time the sculpture should be that of my wife Ishita!
(Some what based on the Pied Piper)
Dear reader any guesses as to how Akaash plans to get rid of Ishita?
