Initially when the show started I thought they were gonna explore the aspect of Vidhi being too busy with the household chores and that she had no time for Pankaj...They never did really focus on this subsequently in the show rite? Or did I miss this?

Nope they never did. They probably might have if the show planned on staying longer.
