I know we all are sad and disappointed that Punar Vivah (with Gurmeet and Kratika) will be replaced with a different cast, but let's enjoy the show while it lasts! Mr. Sumeet Mittal confirmed that they are in no hurry to end the story, so they will give it a good happy ending and we can cherish the memories of this show without it being spoiled by a replaced actor or a bad ending.

Let's just not think about the ending now! Let's enjoy Yash, Aarti, and their little Aayu and hope that the show goes on for at least 2 months more.
When the show does end, I hope Gurmeet and Kratika come back in a new show soon!

Glad to see some positive posts, I am tierd of negative posts since news is around, people need to understand every show has a time to end and an actor or actress will not work in a particular show in entire their life, just enjoy the show and don't take it too personally...

Yeah I agree...but the thing is watching PV is just gonna remind me of the fact that in a few months...there will be no more PV! But who cares...shows will come and go and we still have YT to relive the memories!

Yeah, I don't think there's any need for negativity. The Mittals have not behaved immaturely or rudely. They have given us advance notice that the show with Gurmeet and Kratika will end soon, so that we can be prepared. As for the show transitioning into another storyline, that's the Mittals choice and if people do not want to watch it, they don't have to. This show is not ending because of the cast's fault, so people can stop blaming Gurmeet too. Sumeet Mittal sounded very empathetic in his intervew and understood the fans' disappointment, but he has the right to end the show whenever he wants to.
I'm just happy that the show will have a realistic and positive ending. Many shows have a rushed end because producers or channels are forced to end them, but in this case Punar Vivah will have a natural ending so we should be happy about that.

I'm a little confused. I thought I read a while ago that Punar Vivah was only signed on for 2 years, which means that it had a limited run anyway, and the article that I read said they would be revisiting the premise of Punar Vivah without the original cast but that the original cast would be continuing with their story line. So it sounds like they would be having two show with the same premise but different families.
I've enjoyed Punar Vivah and plan on doing so until it's over. If and when it ends I wish the best for the cast and PH and would just like to thank them for keeping my mind occupied for as long as they have.

It's very natural to feel sad when a show is ending, but I just hope people won't bash anyone, either Gurmeet or the Mittals. Every show has to come to an end sometime, and personally I prefer a show to end within 2 years than being dragged for 5-6 years like some shows. Those shows really suck and have horrible storylines, and then they have rushed endings because they've gone on for too long and the channels force them to shut down.
Let's just enjoy the show while it lasts.

A show can never end coz of an actor decision to end it, people should stop accusing Gurmeet or PH, coz final decision is only and only channel and I truely feel the channel has big hand on the transition thing, they are changing things in all their shows on Zee TV, not only Punar Vivah, they are like working things to improve the TRPs... At end of day, it's business world, where emotions has no room...
