I come online after so many days and all I see is various rumors/articles saying PV will go off air and GC is to blamed somewhere for it.Yet I am unable to understand the reasons...PV is doing quite decently for its time slot,and is doing above average even if you look at all Zee shows.Even if I accept the worst case scenario,I dont see how a 3 week show is causing so much trouble between GC and Mittals.I mean GC did JDJ for 4 months,which was much more gruelling without taking a single leave,and Mittals also supported him completely. Compared to that Nach Baliye is just a 3 week show and nowhere as intense...It is a fun show and even its shooting would have been over by now...So how come this is a bone of contention b/w GC and Mittlas...I wont comment on GC's movies as we have been hearing such rumors now and then,but havent seen any confirmed news.
For argument's sake lets believe for a moment that these rumors are true and GC is indeed quitting for whatever reasons.Even then what is the need to end the show. Its not like GC or PV fans are threating the channel and producers with death calls to end the show without GC.Yes GC is very popular,but then Mittals too are established. I am sure if Mittals have faith on the show and think they can continue it,they wont axe it for GC...No producer does.Sushant quit and was replaced yet PR is still ran. Now even Ankita has quit yet they havent shut the show. Leads of shows as popular as Saathiya and Balika Vadhu were replaced yet they kept running...So no matter how big the actor,if producers want to run the show,they would replace him,or end his character...Yes the audience may or may not accept the change but that doesnt say producers wont try if they are making profit...And even though I am a great fan of GC, I would support Mittals in continuing the show if they have faith and really want to.Because I think that many people are behind the success of a show.Of course whether the show sustains or not depends on audience.And of course I would wish GC the best for all his ventures.
Perhaps this post is not even needed as all these are rumors...But I thought I would rather be safe than sorry... Even more than the show, I have loved this forum and its unity...I am not a blind fan who refuses to believe that the show would end someday. But I am not a fan of these rumors. I have loved the whole PV team,the off screen camaraderie and comfort od actors,producers and whole cast and crew. So whenever it ends,sooner or later,I just want it to end gracefully,on a happy note with no bitter feelings and memories be it for actors,producers or fans.So let our better senses prevail and take every news or rumor with a pinch of salt,until there is an official clarification or confirmation. Let us stand united and not tarnish our memories by believing every rumor.
And last but not the least, do not let these rumors spoil your viewing experience...Take each day as it comes. Enjoy the show everyday and appreciate the hard work of whole team. Whether or not PV ends,make the forum memorable...The love for this show and actors have brought us together,so let us keep appreciating them when times are tough :)Trust me bitter memories of few days can make you forget all the good times...I have seen it with many shows.So avoid bitterness,negativity and controversies like plague. Even if the show ends someday,we should have beautiful memories to cherish forever!
