I think there were a couple of SP shows that start off with nayi soch but then just end up being saas-bahu sagas and that's all that is to them. What's the nayi soch of SNS or Saraswatichandra? Do they even fit the tagline of the channel 🤔?

LOL no idea about SNS but for Saraswatichandra, the nayi soch is that instead of the lead actress being the mahaan one, it's the lead actor who is mahaan! 😆

OMG. This is so much fun. I was cracking up at Sony TV's tag line. You have to be kidding me. That channel is truly a dying channel. And I recently read an article on how Mittals new show on that channel is under the scanner. That channel changes its shows at the same rate we change our underwear. 😆

You know as far as SP is concerned may be it was just the feeling I got from listening to people talk about it. Yes most of their shows can truly be categorized as saas bahu. 😆 But then as far as I am concerned every show is saas bahu, as long as you have a saas and a bahu in the show. 😆 All of them start out as romance and then once the wedding takes place then it becomes saas bahu. It is almost like it is the next right of passage.

When the earlier rumors started making its rounds, one of the rumors was that Mittals were going to start a new show with the same concept as PV. At that time I found it very perplexing but now I understand that this is what they meant. I feel PV 2 with a new cast was somthine that the channel and or the PH has been planning for a month or so, possibly since Gayatri's exit. Anyways, when I read that article in TOI about Mittals new show with the same concept in that it was specified that Mittals said the new show will NOT be a saas bahu. So lets see. 😆

🤣 Kirthi Di, this is epic! But so true! I was watching Sony the other day and I was wondering where Aamna's serial was. Only then did I realise that the show has gone off-air! I think there's something really wrong with that channel. It's channel leader is BALH which has the same TRPs as our show and look at what the channel is doing to our show!

LOL, isn't the Mittals show on Sony supposedly a non saas-bahu show? I must say though, the casting makes a whole lotta difference. I did try to watch that show but the lead actress annoys me! I would miss PV's wonderful cast! 😭

You do have a point, almost all the shows become saas-bahu shows post-marriage. Funny how our show had received so much of flak in its early days for being categorized as a saas-bahu show. At least the makers were true to the premise of the show, unlike most of the other shows.

As for KS, I really won't worry about her. Yes the actors they do sound like they are hurt but it is okay. They are so much more thick skinned than us. They will get over it much quicker than we will. 😆 I know a friend who had gone to visit KS and she said KS is very very intellectual and very strong (personality wise). 😃 I think our girl will be just fine. So cheer up every one.

😃 HI Angake, this mellowed my anger a bit..i am not so much worried about KS not being able to take this , it's the channel's treatment and more of the fact that it will take a long time to see brilliant performances such as GK does,, and yeah, i see that she handles everything well😉

Yes, Mittals show on sony is supposed to be a non-saas bahu show. And I agree with your sentiments about the casting. I think Mittals truly hit the jackpot with PV. 😆

So, there is a new TOI article about the villain of PV 2 and it is the lady who played our Buaji's role in the beginning. She was there until Yash and Aarti got married. After the marriage we didn't see Buaji for a few episodes and then the next thing we know is that Buaji has returned from her teerth Yatra and it is our current Buaji. In the article it is mentioned that PV 2 will have a new backdrop. I am not sure what exactly it means but I think they are going to 'modernize' the respective families. 😆

Ya I know what you mean ladyBgud. 😆 My biggest fear is either of these actors end up with sub par co stars. They have truly spoiled us. They had such an amazing emotional connect as co-stars. Well, all I can say is GK kind of pairing is once in a life time. And that makes their pairing even more precious I suppose. 😳

As for the channel, ya all of their work ethics are not quite ethical. 😆

tell me about it! it's akin to being served porridge w/o variation all the time🤢

with the abundance of actors with less talent on tv, we might eventually settle for something less to be paired with either of them.. i'd like them to experiment with BW..i'm so dying to see those brilliant displays on the big screen..but always the best is to see them on small screen😳
