Not at all, Nina. I hope so too. My faith in them is 0 right now. But I do hope that the Mittals can fight for the ending they know would be best for the concept, the characters, and the fans.

I agree with Anu that, from all accounts, we're at this point with a PV2 because ZeeTV lacked the patience and foresight to get PV1 back on track. They think the PV concept is larger than the actors. I think that's why they very likely pushed the SP-Radha PV the way they did and look what happened -- it fell flat. It was mistimed and all the characters took a beating through it. However, the concept would not have taken off at all if it weren't for Gurmeet and Kratika's work together. It's their chemistry along with the story that resonated with the fans. Yash and Aarti. We've been saying for weeks, months even, that's who people want to see. When the focus isn't Yash and Aarti the ratings fall away. The story and the crazy antagonists cannot stand alone. However, it doesn't seem as if ZeeTV understands it or buys into that reality. All that was needed was to guide the story back to Yash and Aarti. No need to start a whole new storyline with a whole new cast. But I don't think ZeeTV gets that. They get the business side of things but don't get the creative side of things, at least not for a story with layered characterization and social relevance like PV.

While some are open to seeing where the new story will go and new viewers will likely join, it won't surprise me if many other viewers (onliners in particular) will remain resentful and just not bother. So it's a risk all around. Instead of imposing their usual gimmicks to PV, I think ZeeTV had a better chance fielding/gauging remedies from a TRP viewing focus group which could have guided the Mittals on what to adjust. But, what do we know? We're only the viewers of the show. 😵

Yeah so true, really going to miss this show.

This track could have had so much potential if shown two months back instead of SP-Radha PV and aakash nonsense. But now it just doesn't fit into the equation. Lets see if the cvs can prove me wrong. Pls. give us some happy epis in these last weeks cvs so that we can cherish something beautiful😭. And i want Yash to catch Ishita.😈

Kill her character for all i care. I hate her dialogues and i feel like slapping her face when she occupies the entire TV screen with her disgusting smirk😡

Nina, so agree! This has been the most fulfilling and frustrating two weeks I've ever had as a viewer. 😆 We've gotten so many great Yash-Aarti scenes and this great character exploration and introspective finally comes! Now of all times! Because of that, we're seeing in the text how much more story Yash and Aarti have when we've been told there's nothing left to tell. Getting Yash and Aarti emotionally restored enough to be transitioned out should logically take at least another month, but, per usual, ZeeTV will want the Mittals to rush through it in 2 weeks and I'm fearing we'll have open-ended large plot and characterization holes. It would have helped if the whole PV1 cast wasn't being ushered all out immediately, but gradually over the next couple of months while the PV2 cast comes in gradually as well. But it seems they want to do an immediate switch or very close switch over. If that's case, let's really hope the Mittals are allowed to close things off in a satisfactory way.

It makes me think that everything we've seen over the past couple of months is indeed because ZeeTV was leaning hard on the Mittals with their gimmick nonsense, which would explain the SP-Radha PV that only ZeeTV seemed to want and noone else. But, see, when their gimmicks don't work, they seem to want to blame everyone else but their own impatience. 🤔

Heylo all!

I managed to read through the few pages that I missed, and I'm about to head out again for a while. I am not going to join the party about Zee TV just yet - but this whole "actors are replaceable" mentality is something that brings back even more bitter memories for me. Hooray.

That TC article, though! Gosh, Kratika is just so wonderful. She has so much respect for people and that seems to be a rarity in Indian showbiz. At least in the TV industry, I haven't heard actresses speak about the strengths of their contemporaries - Kratika is one of the few (the only one I can think of right now) who has something nice to say about her peers.

I love, love, love how she mentions the nominations and links that to how those motivate her to work harder. She didn't mention an urge to win - just to strive to continue doing even more good work. Ah, and the "let the best one win" parting comment. Love her.

Oh wow, thanks for that wonderful TC article (for a change TC has some good stuff to say). I love this lady and this love is going to increase exponentially with each passing day! How I wish more celebs were like her, the industry would have had been a much better place that way.

Lyra, I am wondering how the CVs are going to go about with the story too because like you have mentioned, if Yash is not faking this, I won't buy a simple apology. I have been yearning to see Yash apologise for his post-Mumbai behaviour, but that never happened.

And to all those who are lamenting about how we have been getting great episodes now, when the show is ending, I share your sentiments.

Just caught up with the short TC article on Kratika. So her! Just so openhearted, and full of praise and respect for her peers. Her humility about her own gifts and talents is the striking thing for me and really makes me respect and admire her so, so much. ❤️
