Both of them are the biggest villain in Punar Vivah. They may come in different tracks but they do have something in common. Let's analysis them:-
Both is in thirst for love from their family
Shobhama is the world's best MIL but when it comes to her son it's complete opposite of it. Yes she does love her Prashant . It was evident during the time where Prashant was fighting for his life. The turmoil of a mother was seen here. But when he made a mistake and left Aarti for Nida. Maybe she has a mother could have gave him a chance to justice himself or even forgive him here. A child is never born bad. Only time changes it. People say he is after the money but I would say he was fighting with Aarti for his mother's love. And money only used as the issue here. Because he feel Aarti has taken away his right as a son and also has taken his parents from him.
Whereby Ishita is a rich handicapped girl who is showered with all the luxury in the world except for love. Even though there is more to come in understanding the character much better. But 2 scenes have proved her yearning for her parents love. 1st was during the wedding ceremony. She with a gun on her head said her parents were willing to get her married to anyone because she being a handicapped is being a burden to them. What might have happen to her life for her to say something like this? And the 2nd scene was she was taking water in the well for Akash. And after the convo with him she said to herself I was showered with all the jewels in the world except for love. These both scenes justify her needs for love.
Love had turned them evil
Prashant's love for Ansh. In simple words His Blood. The cutie pie that brings smile on everyone's face with his cute masti. When he met Ansh and Aarti after Nida left him, he saw a little boy who just brightens his life during his dark hours. At that point of time he was this dying father who wishes to cherish every moment he has with his son. But selfish took over him when the same boy gave him a second chance in his life. Now he has a life to live but no one to share his life with. And here comes his obsession on Ansh. Aarti was just an additional to make a perfect family. Ansh was the priority here.
As for Ishita Yash Scindia was the 1st man who was willing to married a handicapped girl here. In another word A PERFECT GENTLEMAN he is. It was obvious how she was looking at him during the wedding ceremony. But it dint even last for an hour when Akash married her forcefully. Even then she has the girl who accepts her fate and willing to live and learn to love him. But all her dreams were destroyed when Akash openly said that he married her only for the money and nothing more. The pain of being deceived change into a revenge first on Aarya. But looking at the way Yash is being loving and caring towards Aarti. The emotion called jealously just overtook her. So what if Aarti is his wife? She was supposed to be at that place of Aarti getting all the attention from Yash. The point where he could have been hers gave her the motivation to think the chance might rise again for her to have him again. And Yash was her obsession.
Yash the trump card
Prashant's friendship with Yash was only to get nearer to Ansh. Even when he was good or when he turned bad. His main intention was only getting Ansh. And he knows Yash values his friendship so much that even when Buaji point regarding Ansh's picture in Prashant's wallet was never a problem for Yash. Without Yash Prashant can never enter SM. He also knows that this will make Aarti helpless too.
Ishita's crocodile tears and humble gesture toward Yash had created a good impression in the eye of Yash now. For him she is just the pitiful girl who was stucked with Akash due to his mistake. Her love does rise at certain times for him like during the hot coffee scene. But she always plays well in front of him by using other's name like Radha ma to hide her feelings. And Yash being the nave one falls for it.
Both of them share the same characteristics. That why they are called python and snake. They would have made a great pair together. Don't they??
