After the brahman fiasco today Itchita went and visited a reputed astrologer in Bhopal. Her father frequently consulted this astrologer and his accuracy rate was over 40%.
The astrologer looked at Itchita's horoscope pensively for over 30 mins. Finally he broke the silence.
Astrologer: Itchita beti, I do not know how to artfully convey what I see so let me be blunt. Prepare yourself to be a vidwa (widow) - your husband will die a painful and violent death this year.
Itchita was stunned and stared at the astrologer transfixed. She was so shaken it seemed that all life had gone out of her. After a long pause she drew in several deep breaths and composed herself. Finally she broke the tense silence that hung like a veil over them.
Itchita: Panditji can you tell me if I will go to jail? Will there be a court case? If yes, will I be acquitted?
