i like Punar Vivah, and i love the relationship between Arti and Yash. but what are the makers trying to prove with the present track.
i get Akash is angry that he was delt crappy cards in life for no fault of his.
what i dont get is how can they show that his entire personality is so rottan and uncivilized just because he was brought up in poverty. why dont poor people learn manner or how to simply behave in a civilized manner in front of others.
his mother or more exactly the woman who brought him up was poor, so maybe she could not give him an english school education, but she must have give him some sort of education, she may not have had the money to throw lavish parties, of send him shopping, or to the movies every week, but she could provide food clothing and shelter. she could give him basic india values of how to respect your elders, be kind to people, be helpfull to others. return kind words and deeds in kind. you dont have to be brought up rich to learn such values.
so why is Akash blaming he uncivilized behaviour on the fact that he was not brought up by his rich family. that's stupid.
Akash is a person not an animal in the jungle, he was brought up in a society by other human beings, not in the jungle by a bunch of monkeys or wolf's that he does know how to behave in society.
or maybe the tridition of blaming your short commings on other and not on the choice you make runs in the Sindia/Gyatri blood. and Akash is doing exactly what his father did, blamed his lack of contron and small heartedness on others, rather then hold themselves responsible for their own actions.
no one can make you a criminal if you dont want to be one. no one can force you to lie and cheat if you choose not to.
the only sensible man in the sindia piravar is yash. papa sindia who was a strong pattriarch is nothing but a week man, who has no sense of morality, or remose. he persicuted Arti for a lie. wanted a marriage to brake and children to become motherless again, simply because his ego was to great that he fell for the lie that Arti's family told him about her marital status.
so what punishment should he give himself for cheating on his wife by sleeping with another woman and fathering a child with her.
this family is so flawed and yet they stand in judgement of others. it is sad.
