What would you do if you were in Yash's position and you found out that one of your parent's had an extra-marital affair with another man/woman and your other parent didn't know about it? Would you tell them or would you keep quiet? What if you found out that you were the illegitimate child, would that affect your decision?

I would do what Yash did. I would honestly keep quiet. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone about something that happened so many years ago. I know it may sound cruel and they have the right to know, but even if I wanted to tell them, I wouldn't be able to. I would be speechless if I ever tried to confront them about this. I wouldn't ever be able to tell them.

I would hv actually kept quiet too if I was in Yash's place ... Its not really easy ... u just cannot afford to loose the peace and happiness of your family by giving justice to outsiders at the cost of ruining the peace of your own family ... all that years of togetherness in a family cannot b given away one fine day with one truth suddenly popping out ... I m no freedom fighter .. just a normal human .. so will keep quiet .. sighhh

Saffi it's very easy to blame someone for something. But when you are ( God forbid) in a similar situation as that person than only you realize that persons predicament.

Earlier I was a bit surprised to see Yash's reaction and his decision to hide the truth, but then later realized that given the circumstances anyone would have done the same. Circumstances always forces a person to take certain decisions. Wether they are right or wrong only time will tell.

I agree, the whole family would break apart if something like this got revealed. There would be grief and sorrow, nothing else. I know that someone has been wronged, in fact the whole family has been wronged, but is it really necessary to take away their happiness for one mistake? I don't know if this is right or wrong, selfish or not, but I would definitely conceal the truth.

Yeah, I didn't find Yash's reaction unrealistic at all, even for someone who hates lies. This situation is more complicated than just differentiating between a truth and a lie, it can make or break a family, it can take all the happiness away from them. Yash's reaction was definitely a very realistic one and I'm sure nearly anyone in his position would do the same thing.

Saffi Yash proved that for the sake of his family's happiness, he is ready to sacrifice his principles. Which shows what is more important to him. Of course I'll always opt for my parents happiness, as I am what I am today only because of them. And that is what Yash is doing.

Exactly, for someone like Yash (and maybe even many of us), our parent's are worth sacrificing our values/principles for. We won't be able to see our parent's in pain, and that's simply the reason why many people wouldn't expose the truth.

Saffi like I told you earlier that I was shocked when I heard that Yash wants to hide the truth. I was even angry and I even made a post on that. But later I realised the gravity of the whole situation and tried to put myself in his place.
Well sometimes it takes us time to evaluate certain situations 😆 and that's what happened with me 😕

Decisions .. Decisions ...
We all have one but .. Is it the right one?.
Nothing ever becomes real until it is experienced.
Yash is a man of integrity and Aarti is his shadow.
The word happiness will lose it's meaning without
sadness. So whatever decision is taken by these two
will surely be the right one.
