Radha: We talked a little bit about this last night in DC but really the woman is amazing. She finally thinks about Gayatri? Really? I can accept that she impulsively committed a mistake so many years ago however that is where the buck stops. If she truly was concerned about Gayu, she would have never encouraged Akash to go ahead with the DNA test. Wouldn't presenting Akash as the product of SP's infidelity broken Gayatri's heart? From what I can see, all she cares about is Yash. She is ready to do what she can for Akash but never at the cost of Yash losing it all. Yash is and will always be her priority.
Congratulations Radha! You have very aptly taken Shobha's position in this story. Shobha and Radha symbolizes the two extremes of motherhood. Shobha was obsessed with her principles and to uphold those principles gave up on her son and wronged her adopted daughter many times. Radha on the other hand was so obsessed with the importance of family name and social status that she gave up on her biological son and wronged the son she adopted and continues to. Amazing parallels. I can totally see Radha joining Shobha in the great hall of fame for doling out annoying lectures. It irked me to no extent when she told Aarti that she will worry about Akash and that he has a strong heart, he can deal with it but Yash on the other hand would be devastated. I don't think Radha ever imagined Aarti would fight for Akash's rights and in the process endanger Yash's rights.
Ishita: one smart observant woman. She cunningly tapped into Aarti's sense of right and wrong. I really want Ishita and Akash to somehow end up in SM. It will be interesting to see the change in dynamics between various relationships.
Akash: A victim of Radha's machinations. It was heartbreaking when he said he would take all this humiliation for the sake of his mother who he now believes lied about his parentage. What a shock it would be for him when he realizes that his suffering during the last 30 years was all because of an impulsive mistake committed by the woman he calls his mother. And I cannot imagine his vengeance towards Yash who should have rightly been in his place.
The rest of the Scindiya clan including Gayatri: really where do these guys come from? Granted Akash tried to humiliate them but such a mob mentality? It is amazing how much SP has indoctrinated them. All of them were having fun watching Akash's humiliation.
Aarti and Yash: nothing much to say. At one level you have got to feel for them and the burden they are made to carry at such a young age, because of the mistakes their parents made.
Cannot wait for tomorrow! I would have died of a heart attack if today was Friday. Can I say that this is one of the best tracks of PV so far. 😳
