YAY I am back home!! And everyone is gone, as always ... ='(

I just saw Friday's episode yesterday, on TV and I must say, it was one fantastic episode. All sorts of unexpected things happened, starting with the maha revelation. I was totally expecting that to be the last scene and the screen freezing on Yash's shocked face, but hey, our CVs were as unpredictable as ever! 😆 The only thing that didn't sit well with me was the way in which Aarti was bringing Aakash to each member of the Scindia family and asking them to accept him. It was obvious that they wouldn't accept Aakash that readily. I think it was something about the dialogue, I just couldn't feel for Aakash or understand Aarti, at that point in time. BUT Akshay and Kratika totally nailed the scene. The helplessness and despair on Aakash's face and the desperation on Aarti's face was superbly portrayed by these 2! The rest of the episode was fantastic and I absolutely loved Zahida Ji! What an actress! <3 Gurmeet and Kratika were fantastic as always but Zahida Ji was equally good. Gurmeet's expressions broke my heart and Kratika, my god, no actress cries the way Kratika does. It seemed so real. The entire episode was so good that I actually started weeping in front of my family!

And if I thought that nothing could beat Friday's episode, well I was clearly wrong! I cried myself to sleep after watching yesterday's episode. *note to self: remember to keep tissues by your side while watching the episode tonight* The episode took us on an emotional roller-coaster ride! Zahida Ji once again was fantastic. I don't know why and how I didn't notice it earlier but man is she good or what? That line "aapne maa pe bharosa rakh" was the final straw, couldn't stop my tears from rolling after that. It was interesting to hear Gayatri say this particular line because it was reinforcing what Aarti had said to Yash on Friday. It was as if Gayatri knew that no matter how much her daughter-in-law tries to pacify her son, what Yash really needs to hear is just this very line from his mother. I loved that half-smiling/half-crying Aarti. Kratika, how do you do it every time? She was just perfect in that little scene. Neither the sadness nor the happiness was overdone, everything was just perfect. And the Vidhi-Aarti moment! AWW! <3 Vidhi does owe Aarti an apology but I would let that slide for now. Gurmeet, his expressions were absolutely heartbreaking. From the moment when he walked into the hall, to when he hugged SP *who is being an absolute asshole* and Pankaj, to when he hugged Gayatri, I cried a little more each time. I was bowled over by his performance, seriously. I do not think Yash would send Aakash away by handing him that sum of money, he would surely feel guilty about usurping Aakash's rights, though unintentionally. I am sure Aarti is going to talk to Yash in tonight's episode. And uff, the last scene, that was a killer look. That last YA scene had set my screen on fire, what intensity man! <3

And just look at the essay. Pardon me if I was rambling! And I hope you folks don't fall asleep by the end of it. I still have another post, dedicated to Gurmeet and Kratika, coming up! 😆 Sorry, that's what happens when you miss out on all the fun! Grr.

EDIT -
To all those who are wondering if the CVs have forgotten about Aarti's pregnancy and why she isn't sporting the baby bump, I think she would in the future. Was watching DABH and I saw Meenakshi with the baby bump. Issh, how cute would Kratika look with a baby bump?!

Before I start my second essay, "fill-in-the-blank-lock"! 😲🤣 Borna! That was amazing! What a way to sum up all the ridiculous "locks" that they show on TV! How unrealistic, cringe-worthy and yawn-inducing! P.S. Your siggy box and AVI is absolutely love!

All of you have raised wonderful points, especially loved what you guys said about versatility. So to some people, playing diverse roles is not what is important. What is important is to play the role of an 18-year old girl, even you are nearly 30 in real life? WOW. 👏 Firstly, none of the actresses who played the 18-year old from ______ looked 18. I wouldn't have known that they were supposed to be 18-year olds if I hadn't read the shows' synopses. Like Borna has mentioned, Kratika started her career by playing that kind of a role, didn't she? But unlike some other "popular" actors, she didn't care about her image and went on to play the role of a "vamp". Now tell me, would any of the current actresses dare to do such a thing? Risk being "hated"? That's not all, she then was chosen *ish HPish, she was the chosen one! =P* to play an iconic character, how many get such an opportunity? Those dainty darlings would probably run away from the sets if they had to do horse-riding and sword-fighting!

It's funny how Kratika is tagged as an "aunty" by some "actress's" fans, umm she is younger than your princess in real life people. And what's wrong with playing the role of a mother, if you love kids, you would enjoy playing that role! Is it any wonder why Divyam, Dhirti and Palak dote over their Yash bhaiya and Aarti didi? Their bhaiya and didi love them just as much as the kids love them. ❤️

Nina, you have nailed it hun. Honestly, what is there to show after the lead actress falls in love with the lead actor in all those typical run-of-the-mill shows? That's when the script-writers start to introduce misunderstandings, unnecessary drama and romance just to prolong the life of the show. A very famous PH once told the fans of a show that the show had already run its course after the leads fell in love with each other. That's where we can see how different the other PHs are from our Mittals! Could we love the Mittals any more?

Borna and Saffi, the delusional fans take delusion to a totally new level. At times, I feel like I am talking to a wall when trying to talk to them because they are like a broken record, going on and on with the same things and refusing to see things from someone else's POV. No offence to anyone but I used to think the same way for GC's fans as well but I must say, even though there are some die-hard fanatics out there, his fans are amongst the most tapered down ones, in comparison to those of the other "popular celebs".

Just a bit on Gurmeet as well, I know that it's the KS AT but I am sure you people won't mind, hopefully! 😆 I was not a Gurmeet-fan before seeing him in PV. In fact, I hated him with all my life for all the unnecessary hype and attention that he and his show got. But, Gurmeet did earn my respect and love, and it was not easy. The fact that he decided to play the role of a father, right after playing the role of a hot-shot business tycoon was the first thing that I loved about him. Isn't that what every celeb should do, to not care about his/her image and play all sorts of diverse roles? I must say, Gurmeet and Kratika are lucky to have played roles like Ram ji and Rani Laxmi Bai, how many get the chance? I didn't watch both the shows but I am just very proud of the fact that they are amongst the special ones who have special shows in their kitty! <3 Not only that, the nuanced acting that Borna always talks about, no one does it better than these 2. Not only me, not only us, but many others (outside of this forum) love these 2 for their acting and we aren't the only ones who are spoiled by them and this show. PV has viewers from every age-group and no one can dispute this fact because it is a known fact.

Haters would hate, we can't do anything about it. Yes, it does hurt to see people say such mean stuff about the show and our leads but hey, when our leads don't give a damn anymore, why should we? They are loving the show, loving their characters, loving their co-stars, then why should we complain? What difference does it make to them if someone hates them? Those haters think that only GK and PV have haters but don't people hate their show and leads as well? At least we can be happy thinking that our show is indeed different and not a show that failed to deliver what it promised. And our leads' fans are not at war and love both the leads the same. I am rambling now, sorry!

Oh has anyone read Kratika's TC article? Here's the link:
http://www.tellychakkar.com/features/tv-actors-talk-about-shows-whose-content-and-success-surprised-them

Firstly, Krats looks gorgeous in that picture! And LOL, she likes the show that I have been so critical about all this while and she finds KaBhi's chemistry good! 😲😆 Okay, sorry! Kratika and I have differing tastes, I see. 😛

A random note, YAY, Gurmeet is finally on top! I do hope to see Kratika on top, even if it's for one week because she deserves it! *Aside: I want to talk about SC, if anyone watched the show yesterday, please let me know! Need to get some things out!* 😆

And this turned out to be an essay as well ...

Anu those were some awesome essays you wrote 😆!

Loved everything you mentioned and I'm glad Gurmeet is number one this week. I do hope Kratika also reaches the Top 5, but if she doesn't it won't be the end of the world for me.

I wish I could talk more but I'm heading off to school now so will talk later.

I watched SC. The first episode was good, not great! Do you want to talk about here or through Google Docs?

I was surprised that Kratika liked QH. I'm not a fan but she always speaks so well of other shows anyway like Choti Bahu 2 and Hitler Didi. While I didn't like Choti Bahu 2, Hitler Didi was good for a short while.

Tonight's episode was nice.

I'm glad Aarti and Yash brought Akash and Ishita to Scindia Mansion but I don't think the two really thought out what would happen if they brought Radha along. The family doesn't seem keen on accepting Akash as a member of the family, so what can one expect of them in regards to Radha? If Akash is a reminder of SP's betrayal, then what is Radha? Today I felt bad for SP because what he's fearing may become reality with Radha's arrival in SM. Gayatri is tolerating her husband's betrayal now, but with Radha in the house (and after I type that, I'm thinking "Radha on the dance floor" 🤣, sorry for the random thought), Gayatri will be feeling worse than she is now because Radha is the woman who her husband had an affair with, she is Yash's real mother, and she is the one who swapped the legitimate waaris of SP and Gayatri with her own son. Things are going to get ugly and I won't be surprised to see the family splitting into two, taking sides.

@blue: Haan, her choice of taking up the role of a YOUNG MOTHER who is most probably in her mid to late 20s is what has to be targeted, for lack of anything else to criticize on valid grounds. Kratika is Aarti's age, I believe, and she has said before that both she and Gurmeet knew that they were going to be playing the roles of young parents - and this is better than some story about teens who meet tall, dark, and handsome, arrogant men, fall in lowe, and then get themselves into one mess or another due to indiscretions and lack of trust, complete with every kind of "fill-in-the-blank-lock" imaginable. No, that was not a typo, and we all know that there have been countless shows on Indian TV that have the same sort of storyline as the one that I just outlined.
The "diva status" and monotony (that receives a blind eye by the fans, as you rightly said) which is somehow - I have NO idea how this happens! - taken to be "the epitome of versatility" and "amazing acting" is beyond my comprehension. Whatever type of glasses those fans are wearing, I don't think I even know which color they are. I think I never got my hands on those, thankfully. Oh, wait. I think I threw them into the trash can without a moment's hesitation once I figured out what a truly dedicated and nuanced artist in the field of performing arts is like. And I'm not referring to Kratika here. She lived up to and surpassed the standards that I set in my mind to describe a truly versatile and nuanced actor. But that came later, after those criteria formed based on other actors' performances I had seen long before I even saw Kratika.
@red: WORD, Sadiie! 👏 And please don't forget that Kratika started out playing the lead role of the quintessential Balaji Bahu alongside other iconic and supremely talented veteran TV actors after EK cast her to be in KSBKBT for a little while (that obviously wasn't a role that BT was content casting Kratika in, so they gave her another role with much more scope!), then was cast immediately afterwards as the lead female antagonist (more like protagonist-turned-antagonist) in another Balaji show, and THEN took up JKR because she wanted to do something truly different from her previous roles and because such roles don't come to an actor very often! The rest of the story, we all know. And I'm damn proud of Kratika because what she has achieved in her time in the industry is nothing short of impressive. And none of us, neither Kratika nor her fans, are shoving these facts into other people's faces. We discuss it all amongst ourselves and prefer to let Kratika's performances speak - because let's face it, we all know that even her silences are more expressive than any amount of words we could write!
Love Kratika for being a woman who has the conviction to take up projects that she believes in because of their concepts, stories, and messages, and puts her sweat, blood, tears, and laughter into. Literally. ❤️
(Edited because I added in that heart at the end 😳)

DITTO Borna!
I seriously LAUGH At some people saying some GCians love kratika right now but will forget her once this show ends. Like SERIOUSLY?!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣
Just LOOK At the desperation of some people trying to demean Kratika! And it is sooo obvious they're pretty, no, VERY Much pissed seeing Kratika get her due. It is SOOO Lame I just wanna laugh at these people's IDIOTIC Thoughts 🥱
I think everyone here knows I was just a GCian and I followed PV for him, I was neutral towards Kratika, I wasn't obliged to support her and like her JUST because she was working with GC! WHAT THE f**k Do these people think?!!
She grew on me, her VERSATILITY and her personality made me like her even more!
And now, I'm a Kratika fan because of her; NOT because she's GC's co-star! >_____<
And it is UTTERLY Laugh worthy knowing Kratika Sengar didn't prick their eyes up until yesterday but Now! Now she's become more important than their own favourites 🤣 🤣 🤣
Honestly, such people literally have NO LIFE! They can't admit the facts, they can't admit (Urm...we have stalkers here so I won't say anything 😳)
So um yeah, Kratika has shown her versatility and THAT is what an actor has to have in order to be, well called an actor!😆
If Kratika wanted she could have gone and done a role that's much like herself again and again, and again and again 🥱 but she didn't, cuz she knows she's not the actresses who hide their limited acting skills to a certain Genre and gain blind Pankha following...if you know what I mean 😳
Kratika is the best! Suck it up losers 😎

LOL Sadiie! You're still reading what those people have to say? It's so obvious that they are trying to hide their own insecurities by demeaning Gurmeet and Kratika. And oh the irony, they call us and GK insecure? Uh whatever for. ;)

Anyways, word to your post. Funny how the lady who should be last on their list is currently topping their list. They just can't stay without commenting on her. ;) But like they say, love us hate us but you can't ignore us. That's the GK effect. 😎 I am just super duper proud of our dynamic duo. They take risks and that's what makes them different. Funny how some people literally have to resort to donning the same look they did previously just to make sure people continue to be their blind pankhis. =P

What makes mad is that journalists too only write things that would make those pankhis happy. Like look at the TC article on the beatiful TV actresses. Why is it that Kratika never features in them and some Tom Dick Harry does? *RME*
