I had a feeling it would be him. He never looked sincere enough when Shobha was getting the girls ready & trying to assure them that everything was going to be all hunky dory. After the girls run off she tells Dubey that the girls think that after Ansh comes home they will all be together again & happy. But they're going to get split up after today... Or words to that effect. But if you notice, Dubey's expressions & demeanour don't even come close to the intensity one might expect someone to feel in this situation. He keeps quietly herding them towards getting separated, using Ansh as his trump towards that goal.

Shobha is very vocal about preventing their separation, unlike her I don't recall any scene where he is outraged, or adamantly against their divorce.

But let's see how things turn out & what other twists come up!
