I have the same questions as you, but maybe they a involved with Yash's plan.

According to an article, she is handicapped, so maybe she could'nt find any groom and immediately agrees to marry Yash when SP bring the proposal.

No normal dulhan would give a straight stare to the dulha at the mandap - such marriages are normally when the girl is older and can't get married or she is ill/disable mental or something and parents try very hard to get their daughter married under any circumstances etc and hence this marriage - who would in their right mind marry otherwise unless there was a good reason like Yash and Aarti's marriage - widower and divorcee makes sense in other words Punar Vivah.
