Borna that was awesome! After reading your write-up, I'm going to give this MS a chance only because your writing conveyed what I might have missed in the episode, that silver lining you mentioned to keep us going.

OMG! that was a literary delight in every word!👏👏👏.. i have to relate this story because i don't think it's fair not to give credit to your fantastic write-up. So, i got caught staying up late at night to be online (during my vacation) and my sister was really pissed off that that i was avoiding people because i was sleeping away the afternoon 😃.
In my hurry to hide the forum page, i accidentally deleted my inbox while rewatching the PV confession episode. My sister stopped blabbering and took interest with the show. Then i let her read the write up you did for that particular episode. She asked me to print it out which i did. That weekend, she took the printed write up and watched the whole episode while going through what you have written. She remarked that if a viewer is able to transcribe into words the smallest detail of actions as it is seen on the show, that is a successful fulfillment of touching a viewer in all aspect.

Borna, although i wasn't fully satisfied with the Friday ME, your write up compensated very much for it. It is indeed a blessing that we have GK in the characters because their fine display of gestures and emotions are enough to take the scenes beyond the story. No words, my dear! Your write up suppressed the complain i was rethinking of voicing out. I see no need for it now.👏👏👏...

Borna- Great post! You made the whole mahaepisode fiasco seem not so bad. I think my favorite part was your analysis of the song- my original reaction to it was that it felt like unnecessary drama- but when reading your review it made me realize that maybe it felt that way because of how abruptly Yash and Aarti showed up at the Dubey house. I guess when things are chopped up- the essence of the show can be so easily lost. I have so much more appreciation for the cinematography of PV now!

BB you angel. This was such a phenomenal post. Leave it to you to bring such happiness to the forum.👏👏👏 Reading through this brought such a feeling of warmth and love for me, and as it always is for me, I could clearly see every moment that you described. It is not an episode that I have gotten around to watching due to the timing, but when I do, know that your words will be playing in my head. Your words will keep me from throwing my laptop out my bedroom😳. Fantastic meri farishta(i?)😉

I just wish we had more time to catch all those gestures smoothly, and this remains a major complaint of mine. The nuances are probably there, but it's hard to see them in one or two viewings. That is usually never a problem with our episodes, since things aren't as rushed.

I think this one line of yours really captured the whole essence of your post. It was almost as though you wrote a companion-guide for the episode, detailing all the bullet points that the episode provided us. Wherever there was the tiniest hint or nuance, you caught it and linked it to the grand tapestry that PV has been weaving all these months, and sort of really did justice to the writers' attempts to fit all the important Prashant-related story into this short time before he leaves the show.

Two things which I especially loved were your discussion of the Kyun Mein Jagoon song sequence and the connection of the bear-game to the kidnapping.

First the song sequence, I too observed that little detail of Palak rubbing her face, and while it could have been a tear, the other alternative is that she was rubbing her face to battle sleep, in an effort to stay up and support her mother in this time of trial. And Aarti was so beautifully trying to hold it together for the two of them. In the beginning of the sequence, you could see her on the verge of tears, with that one tear, as you said, poised on her lashes. But it is as though one glimpse of her daughters snapped Aarti out of her worried trance and made her aware of her responsibility to keep them as worry-free as they had managed to keep Ansh through out this whole ordeal. That kiss was like a reassurance, that she was fine and everything was going to be fine, and that the two little ones could sleep peacefully, knowing that it would all come right in the morning. I loved that little scene, and like everyone has been saying, it was the only truly PV scene in the whole episode.

I also loved the way you connected the kidnapping to the bear-game scene. It truly did come a full circle and perhaps all of these nuances would have been much clearer if our CVs had been at the helm, with their indefatigable attention to detail. Ansh was once again locked up in a room, afraid and helpless with Aarti unable to really get him out. Only this time, Yash was there to make sure he felt safe the moment he expressed just how scared he really was. That is how much they have grown from the time of the kidnapping, where mistaken understanding of each other caused risk to both their lives, and now are so in tune that their connection is intuitive. Ansh knows his papa will come for him, and Yash knows exactly when Ansh is being pushed too far, despite being a really resilient kid.

Beautiful post Borna, and I can't wait to read the rest!

@leeguru: Thanks!
@Nina: I hope the episode wasn't too bad after all...Now that it's over with, things are looking brighter!
@Enid: Awww, thank you! I am speechless, honestly! Thank you for the support - and I am very glad that your sister liked my write-up that much! When our show's entire team is so dedicated to bringing out details and emotions as well as addressing important issues in society, I can only try to voice my appreciation and hope that others take notice of the care that goes into each scene!
@Pearl: Thank you, Pearly! I appreciate the time and effort it must have taken! I am still grinning at the emoticon after the "not that bad after all" bit! 😆
@Dora: Aah, thank you for taking the time to go through my post, Dora! It's great chatting with you 'round the forum! Glad this made you see that scene a little differently. Choppiness is one of those things that I sometimes take for granted - it depends on the PH and their editing - but I think the Mittals' style of cinematography and editing is much more flowing, if that makes any sense. Nowadays, shows with scenes that transition so abruptly are kind of jarring to me. Mahasangams are hard to piece together, so I'm giving the editors a bit of slack. Still, I think our story moved at a decent pace, even if some things were rushed a bit due to the time issues and the pressure of having to fit a lot of things into the allotted time frame.
@SAnonymous: Thank you for reading!
@Kadeen: Farishta? You flatter me, darling...If I brought a little bit of hope to people to get us all through the weekend, I am happy that the detail-jotting was of some use. I look forward to hearing your thoughts! Take care of the laptop - and I hope you don't chuck it away because of today's episode...

Trust you to latch onto the essence right away! 😃 Regarding the part in bold: this such is a huge compliment for me, since I automatically started out taking note of all the PV-type moments that came up without really thinking of linking anything together! I was very surprised myself at the sheer number of "this reminds me of..." thoughts that I had. I hadn't been expecting that at all.

Very nice. I like the alternative a lot! I think that is indeed what she was doing, and I love how that one tiny gesture, followed by the camera tracking how both Palak and Payal are in fact awake and attentive when they should have been sleepy, says so much about the mutual support that the girls and Aarti provide to each other. The rest of the paragraph above is wonderful! I completely agree! There was so much reassurance during many of the PV scenes in this episode. I felt like I was already using that word too much, so I let it go for that particular scene's commentary 😆

Word, Sammy. It was such an unexpected full-circle connection...and I am SO happy that we've at least been able to talk through this. It does line up quite nicely, especially now that you've described the growth and developments in the Yash-Ansh relationship very clearly and beautifully, as usual! 👏

Beautiful post Borna, and I can't wait to read the rest!
Thank you very, very much, my friend! I enjoyed reading your responses. This was such a pleasant surprise, I must confess!

In case you see this...The rest is finished, if you'd like to take a peek sometime 😊

It's funny that when you read and reviewed this, I hadn't gotten very far into the episode at all! Now there is even more posted and I'm still not even close to getting to A-Mangalpur! 😕 😆 Never-ending story, this one. I'm going to cry khushi ke aansoon when I'm done with this MS, I'm sure. Either that or I'll collapse.
Creative juices? Whatever are you talking about? I'm not creative! The people who came up with the fantastic holiday idea are creative. They gave our Yash-Aarti a holiday, but look at how dedicated Gurmeet and Kratika are...They still tried to keep their characters' personalities preserved! But I did love watching the Making of Lag Jaa Gale! 😳 It was so cute!
@bold: I couldn't agree more! 👏 Ah, this show. It is so lovely. And a very impressive feat of storytelling and casting, given all the hoops the team is having to jump through still!
(You meant "without much OTT drama" right?)
Aww, I love all those moments that you mentioned! 😃 Very touching! I wrote about them just a little while ago (the courtroom scenes, finally!) so that happy hug is etched in my mind now.
*sigh* Lag Jaa Gale analysis? Baap re baap, you are expecting too much. I can promise a commentary about the Making of the song sequence and about the song sequence itself. Analysis...I'm not so sure!
Thank you so, so much for reading! Thanks for the lovely comments, too! 🤗

Aaahh I finally managed to read it whole ... it felt like watching those AarYa scenes all over again ...

I just loved the way u described that courtroom scene post the verdict when both Yash and Aarti close their eyes in relief and finally both hug each other to find peace in each other's arms ... once again I will say thats our PV .. those emotions , pain everything so well portrayed by Gurmeet and Kratika 👏👏👏...

Some of the caps from that particular scene 😳😳...

See that overwhelming relief on their face 😳😳

I loved the way Aarti does that gesture of kissing his hands before the hug just to indicate to him that its all because of u ...😳

Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for making a reappearance! 😃
I absolutely LOVE this scene! And you know, I feel so proud that on Friday, despite things seeming so disjointed, our scenes had a lot of significance within them...The way those emotions were brought out, like you said, was very much in line with our PV! And why wouldn't it be? I will join you in that standing ovation! Clap Clap Clap

Ohhh! Caps!
The very first time I watched this episode, when the time for the verdict came, I actually felt a rush of relief and joy spread through me when I saw how Yash reacted! Gurmeet's body language was what impacted me most. I even let out a cry of happiness...I was swept away, just like Yash was. Beautifully portrayed! Clap
And if Gurmeet took my breath away in that first portion, then it was Kratika's turn to do the same thing during the other portion you've posted caps of. I love, love, love how Aarti touches her lips to his hand. See, I don't even know if we could call it a kiss in the true sense of the word, because it wasn't focused on...But for simplicity's sake, we could do that...I love that choked laugh that Kratika lets out while her lips are still touching his hand. So much feeling, conveyed without being drawn-out or unnecessarily dramatized.
The hug at the end seems so natural...He just spreads his arms around her, and they share that warmth and happiness together. *sigh* They look so content! Minor detail that I also like...the way that Aarti/Kratika doesn't wrap her arm around from beneath Yash/Gurmeet's arm. You know how most heroines hug the heroes and end up with their hands on the man's shoulders? Hard to explain in words, but I see that everywhere except here, haha. The natural progression of physical contact in the relationship between Yash and Aarti is so, so nice! Very sweet and not rushed at all.
