So the much awaited TRPs are back after a long break, and brought not so good news for PV. The steep fall in numbers is shocking,even if some of us anticipated a decrease. But as they say every experience is a learning one. So some lessons to be learnt for CVs-
1."You can drag all the tracks some of the time, and some of the tracks all the time, but you cannot drag all the tracks all the time." - Ani
2. Its fine to show your female lead in dilemma and being a victim of circumstances,but dont stretch it so far that she comes across as dishonest,and making excuses for the sake of it.
3. Its fine to show your male lead unsuspecting and innocent,but dont make him so naive that he comes across as a fool whom everyone can take for a ride,be it his wife, in - laws,or new best friend.
4.Its good to give importance to all the characters, but dont give them so much importance that male lead looks like a side kick,and that too one who has no idea what is going around him.
5. It would be really good if Aarti's words and actions are not so contradictory. She says she completely loves and trusts Yash yet lies to her constantly. She says that she has no feelings for Prashant yet is always uncomfortable in his presence.
6. A lot more clarity on Aarti's feeling for Prashnt. It seems there are a LOT of unresolved emotions here. She is uncomfortable with him. Her expressions in car while remembering what Tayiji said to her regarding Prashant, were confusing to say the least. She says she is tied down to Yash. All this is giving very mixed signals about her real feelings for Prashant as well as Yash.
7. Make Yash's character stronger.
8.Make Aarti's character consistent. One minute she is all guilty, and next minute she is gleeing and teasing Yash as if she does not have a care in the world. It makes it really difficult to connect with her.
9. Time to throw some light on Prashant's character. Is he positive,is he negative,is he grey,is he opportunist? You can give him any shade as per your wish. But it is seriously tedious now to watch his alternate reactions and analyse his intentions.
10.Do away with extra characters which dont add anything to the story like Tayiji( why was she required in the first place?).
11.Stop giving scenes we have seen 100 times like Aarti lying and then being in dilemma, Prashnt's confusing dialogues and his tactics to get close to Aarti, Shobha preaching etc.
12.Start moving story forward with Yash's reactions and decision regarding the truth, Aayu's future,truth coming out to Scindhiya family.
13. Focus on all three kids.And 3 kids are Ansh,Payal and Palak,not Ansh,Ansh and Ansh! Also are 3 weeks not over yet? When would we get a definite answer whether Aayu is surviving or not.
14.Keep delivering your best and keep hoping that Zee gives interesting promos for PV on a regular basis for few weeks at least.
15. Dont expect any miracle in 1-2 weeks, at least few weeks of fantastic and fast paced episodes are needed to get the lost audience back.
