@Samana
Ambiguity allows for one or more interpretation - in other words the alternate cannot be ruled out. So, the possibility exists that he was a wife-beater!

It was the medication that put her to sleep! Any one who has low BP (I do) will confirm that bit! No way would she feel so cozy with P as to sleep in his presence!!

I agree Anonee! 😆

If Zee hadn't promoted this day (12-12-12) I would not had looked too much in to it. I actually liked the episode, I might be in the minority here but it doesn't seem like a drag. At least when it comes to Prashant his character and his turning grey, it can't be done overnight. It has to make sense and looking at tonight's episode I can't see why he would turn evil overnight. Yes there where moments that creeped me out, like him staring at Aarti while she was a sleep, what the h was that?!
But overall I feel this... This was nothing.. He is just observing for now! He will attack when nobody will expect it..
Just the whole monologue in the beginning.. I guess that was needed because of the promo? Otherwise it could easily been cut out if you ask me.
Prashant-whise I like where this is going! With GC back I guess they're going to focus on the official plot. But GC or not I think this day was already all about Prashant!

Gotta agree with you this was no filler including the temple scene. There Bua was the odd one out during the cute couple scene - as yet Zee or the CVs did not highlight her as a villain nor did they show her jealous and feeling left out. I am interpreting this as a possibility for a Bua redemption track. And hoping that SP will get her remarried!

@anonee: Actually, I don't think the Dubeys have ever been respectful of Aarti, even when they cared about her the most. From the very decision to go ahead with this PV for Ansh's sake to tearing up her wedding card with Prashant, everything was done either through force or blackmail. There has never really been any respect in their relationship for Aarti as an adult, which is why they feel free to blackmail her into whatever is convenient for them at that moment, whether it be the PV itself, the divorce lie or now Prashant's BMT. The only time Shobha ever acknowledged how much Aarti has done for them was when she was trying to upstage Prashant! So I stand by my original claim that the Dubeys some times care about Aarti more than others, but have never respected her.

@Chhavi: Prashant said those things to irritate Shobha, when she was doing his AS. It wasn't really directed at Aarti herself. Whenever Prashant has met Aarti, he has expressed happiness at the idea of her moving on because that is what he wanted so he could get his parents back, but also because I think he genuinely cared about Aarti. All the worst things he said came in anger with a lot of provocation, either when Aarti or Shobha was pushing an idea he didn't want to deal with down his throat. He retaliated with words that would really shut them up, basically. He is not a bad person, just a weak, selfish, irresponsible one who cannot be held accountable for his actions and cannot grasp the seriousness of relationships. He does care about people, but is limited by his own selfishness in how well he can express that.

That is exactly what I was trying to say, given that your responses made it sound like there was no doubt that he was a wife beater. I was trying to highlight the ambiguity here and equally relevant possibility that he was not regularly abusive, and was all talk. With Prashant, I see this as a viable option. 🤔

I see what you are saying Sammy about those harsh words and that's precisely what I am saying that he cares but it's more like I will care about you as long as I get it my way, otherwise there is no respect for any relation, be it Shobha or Aarti!

@anonee: agree, Bua is never really highlighted as a "villain", however I have my doubts on her. I don't know why but I feel she might join Prashant somehow. She never cared about Yash or her families happiness as long as Aarti was not happy/or somehow proven wrong. There is something seriously wrong with her I tell ya!
Really makes you wonder what happened to her that makes her this bitter. I really wonder what the cv's have in mind for Bua (be it redemption or not!)
I think SP doesn't even think about her remarriage in this age lol!
