Gurmeet - Kratika surely deserve all the accolades for winning over so many fans and earning so much popularity. This was the only jodi who had to endure so much backlash and criticism without even the show starting. Most of the Gurmeet fans had deserted him as soon as he signed this show,and Kratika, though immensely talented,did not have much online fan following. Media was more than eager to write the show and couple off to fuel the situation. Gurmeet was bashed so much,and Kratika was targetted for everything from her looks to figure.

GC KS and Aarya were never going to be conventional. But slowly they created a new set of fans. Those who found the show and couple to be unlike any other. Trps were doing consistently well, and it started receiving recognition and awards too. Media had no choice but to acknowledge its popularity. So much so that today no credible list of successful jodis/ shows can afford to miss Aarya/PV

Thanks for the update... I had to agree that when Punar Vivah started I saw that there were alot of people that backlashed Kratika, from her looks to her weight and I even saw people say that she looks like a aunty infront of Gurmeet... Little do they know that not only is Kratika beautifull she is a beautifull person and she carried herself well through out all that backlash. I feel that some times people forget that our beloved actors are human and they too have feelings. As for Gurmeet, he got backlashed for picking and choosing this role... I felt so bad for both of these actors but look at them now they are sizzling and hot together and they shut up those people that beggar to differ. I love the pairing of Gurmeet and Kratika they are an awosme couple on screen. I can't get enough of them! 😛

It goes without saying Gurmeet and Kratika have become a household name becos of their chemistry and compatibility ... as Aarti and Yash they look like they are made for each other ... the lovely dance item on ZeeTv Rishta really speaks the truth as they looked so lovely together and so at ease with one another! And yes, they are gr8 as parents to the three lovely kids!! Hope to see more of them with the kids and as Aarti's pregnancy advances!
