because now he wants ansh... his fatherhood suddenly jaag gayi after 6 years of ignoring and even failing to acknowledge ansh as his own son.. He's feeling too miserable and lonely. Since Nida left him, his ego was shattered so he thinks aarti might still want him back in her life... You cannot blame the guy for dreaming with his eyes wide open..
