I think P is letting his true intentions be known, but much like the serpent he will first get the lay of the land and then strike. Prashant doesn't want to be the one to tell the truth but he does want Yash to know the truth because with all the lies that have been told it would be to his advantage.
So far he can say that he hasn't done anything and from the outside that seems true but it's not ... he has introduced an element of doubt that wasn't there before.
