Tale 1:
In the Garden all was well... all of the Gardener's plants and pets were cared for and nourished, the days were pleasant and warm. All the trees bore fruit and the fragrance of the blossoms filled the air.
The gardener's attendant and his spouse made sure that all was well.
And in that garden there was one tree that the Gardner forbid the attendant and his wife from attending. He said that the fruit of that tree would only offer pain and destruction, and it would be best that they let that tree alone.
Seasons passed and all went well, then one day the attendant's wife was sitting enjoying the sights and sounds of the garden when a voice interrupted her revery.
The voice asked " What are these plants that you tend?"
The attendant's wife looked down and saw the smooth head and long body of a serpent. She felt neither fear nor malice coming from this new creature so she began telling him the names and properties of all the plants. They spent a great deal of time pleasantly roaming the garden together and eventually wound up at the forbidden tree.
The serpent said, "Tell me of this tree."
The attendant's wife said "I cannot, because I do not know. All I know is that we should stay away from this tree."
The serpent said "Why?"
She said "I'm not really sure, but that is what we were told"
The serpent said, "But why?, what is the creator of this garden hiding? Don't you want to know?"
And she began to think...
After seeing Prashant in SM, this came to mind. There seems to be a lot of parallels. Plant a seed and doubt will grow...
