Hi Indu! I've been on-and-off the board for all of Thursday, and I finally got the chance to sit down and read the newest update. Catching up just a little from Part 7:
Well...he talks to Mishti to not only stay connected but also because somewhere in his mental convos with her, he finds the solutions to his problems too. This is something his friend Arpita made him realize. He finds it very fulfilling to let Mishti be the guide of his mind, heart, and soul. This is how he has kept her so alive in him.
The way you describe that is beautiful, especially the bold part.
Now, coming to the 8th installment. Once again, another wonderfully written piece. I like your pacing of each new event that brings Yash and Aarti/Misthti into each other's reach, yet keeps them just far enough to keep their anticipation/longing palpable.
His shaking fingers had accidentally pushed the voice mail button. He forgot to breathe for a moment as he listened to the sweet voice…second time in a matter of minutes. Clinching the steering wheel tightly, he pressed his forehead against it. He sat thus for a long time, thinking about her.
This part struck my imagination. Your description of his movements are vivid. And the scene between Mishti, Ansh and Palak is precious.
Mishti sat in a painful daze…"Yashji, I found you once….and lost you twice."
See! It's lines like these that get me. I'm enjoying the ongoing discoveries and the angst. Very intrigued to see how Yash's realization of Aarti/Misth's identity impacts the way his upcoming wedding/marriage plans proceed. As always, looking forward to seeing how the story proceeds. 😃
