It's actually not as difficult as you think Didi. Once the thread is finished, simply start a new topic. Copy the link of the new topic and paste it on the first page of this current thread. You can just add it to the Index.
So for example:
Thread Two Link

Part I
Part II
Part III
Then just put your part links like you did already.
(ask one of the techies to show you how to do hyperlinks or whatever you call it so that the bolded part can be the direct link)
For the new thread, provide a link to the old thread on its first page
