Shashi and Sumeet Mittal, better known as the producers of Diya Aur Baati Hum, Punar Vivah and Kairi, are celebrating their 26th wedding anniversary today (23 November 2012).

09 with Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai for Star Plus (Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd), happened to meet each other in their teens, fell in love and got married. Partners at work today, they have two beautiful daughters back home.
We at Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Sumeet to know about his anniversary plans with his better half. "Well, we had gone to holiday in Dubai and are just back. So we aren't going out today, but yes, there will be some celebration with our kids," confided the producer.
Talking about their time together he averred, "Well, we met as kids. So we have seen our teenage, struggle, happy and sad times together. There is nothing that we have kept away from each other."
Lastly, we find courage to ask the producer who had taken the initiative towards this relationship and prompt came the reply, "Shashi proposed me."
Now that's super cute.
