Yash's character has been in focus since the last two weeks. this week he got a little rest.I think we should be grateful to the cvs for that. Gurmeet is super stressed out. He is getting thinner day by day. His shoulder had not healed completely till few days back. still he shot non-stop.Its good that this week he got some rest.
As far as sidelining Yash's character is concerned, i don't think so at all. In fact everything at the moment is revolving around Yash! Even if they show aarti, its Yash she is talking about.
We are yet to see Yash's point of view. and also this week monday , tuesday and wednesday, we got to see his point of view only. There was nothing new from aarti, but we got flashbacks from Yash, his treatment, his breakdown. and yesterday, I think he got equal screentime as aarti. Oly on thursday's episode, we didn't see him apart from the initial 3 mins.
As far as his being stubborn is concerned, well, thats what they r showing. He is stubborn. and he has to repent for it. thats the track. Its Yash who is wrong because he has misunderstood aarti's intentions and he is in guilt, guilt towards arpita because he realizes he is being pulled towards aarti more and more. So, naturally he is reacting the way he is. He is angry on himself, angry on aarti, hence he is punishing himself, and being rude with her. But all that is wrong. and he has to repent for it,and then finally accept the truth that he is in love with aarti, and he needs to learn that by falling in love with aarti, he has not betrayed arpita, so there is no need to punish himself. So, I don't think cvs have any intention of highlighting aarti's goodness at Yash's expense. In fact, I always knew that the moment Yash starts feeling for her, he would behave this way!
I am not convinced about the Aman track either, I would have preferred had things been handled differently, however, i don't think Yash is being sidelined in any ways, in fact he is more in focus now than ever.and next week, we will get more of his point of view.
