My last prediction regarding this track...after reading the rangmuch article i came to this conclusion...
I feel like Aarti gets lost somewhere in Mumbai's desolated place and Yash is busy searching her...
may be she falls into some big problem or there is no means of conveyance during that night and thats when Aman (claimed to be Aarti's friend) accidentally spots her and tries to help her...
since no means of transport they decide to stay there that night...
no there 2 possibilities
First being, since both are said to be childhood friends... may be they were discussing the past and thats when Yash turns up there and overhears everything... he gets the shock and why he broke Arpits's pics maybe he would have thought he fell in love with a liar or something and so he is unable to face her and thats why he asks to remove all her memories from his room...
Second being, may be he saw them in some uncomfortable position and he got jealous of Aman...
his possessiveness for Aarti would have made him realised that he has feelings for Aarti and that he thinks she cheated upon him and he fell in love with some wrong person...
The past episodes show that he is affected by Aarti a lot so it is obvious that he has started loving her...
