How do you think Yash will react...

I know that the doctor told the Scindia family that Yash should visit a psychiatrist. They are each gonna have their own reaction based on their perception of the implicartion of getting help from a psychiatrist. I am curious to know their reactions are. I am sure some of the family members will oppose to the idea as they may think that this is acknowledging that Yash is mad - which is obviously not the case in their mind!s I am curious to see how the writers will dispel any preconceived notions that each of the family member has about getting professional help to treat mental distress.

But what I am most curious too see is what would Yash reaction be??? I am inclined to think that he would not take this too postively as he would think that these people must be thinking that I am crazy which is why they are suggesting such a thing... I do not see Yash as someone who is even aware that he needs professional help - he has been potrayed as someone who is contented to live his life in Arprita's memories. I think he would have just spiralled into further reclusiveness if he had not gotten married or if Aarti had not trigerred some emotions in him. Perphaps after choosing to save Aarti in the fire, he is just overwhelmed by the guilt for not saving his memories of Arprita...He is probably now conflicted by his emotions for Aarti and is going through a turmoil in his head... how can he has feelings for Aarti and betray Arprita...Arprita is supposed to be his one and ONLY!
He is gonna think that this does not warrant professional help as in his mind, he is just guilty and the best way to not be reminded of his guilt is to keep away from Aarti...I do not think he wants to visit a psychiatrist and confront his feelings and acknowlede that Arprita is gone for good and he needs to move on. I think he is gonna kick up a big fuss about visiting a psychiatrist and even refuse it at first. I feel like it is going to be a uphill task to convince him to meet up with one and even for him to reveal his innermost emotions! I hope that the writers will explore and show us Yash's POV of this as well. The first step to healing would be for him to acknowledge that he has a problem and then get help to solve the problem.
I feel that there is sooo much promise with this track. Hope the writers can explore this...
Anyway, I also would like to know what other views are on how Yash will react!

Yash is extremely self sufficient, and quite the recluse. It is going to be quite a feat by his family to convince him to take psychiatric help of any form. I believe that his mother will agree almost immediately because she simply wants to seem him get better as soon as possible. Her desire is that he becomes free from his pain. In the case of Aarti, we know that her opinion in this matter will unfortunately have no relevance, but I believe that she and the other family members may use the children as the final trump card to convince Yash to accept the mental help. However, knowing Yash's manic temper, it will be very difficult for anyone to conclude any conversation regarding this matter, in the manner that he may need to hear it. Even Papa S was unable to have a conversation with him, and this man is the main voice of reason in that complex household. Bhua is mostly concerned with making Aarti miserable, so her efforts will be spent poisoning Gayatri's mind with useless commentary and thinly veiled insinuations. Vidhi and Pratiek might come together with Aarti to attempt something drastic, which could also backfire in their faces and have far- reaching consequences. So let's wait and see how the CVs take this to the next level.

But the way yash responded after brking arpita's frames was positive...he wanted to get out of those memories...he wanted those memories to leave...which is not leaving him...he just needs to open up his thoughts...sometyms its easier to share ur secrets with a stranger than closed ones!or may b yash can b treated or counselled without letting him knw he is being cured!

That's an interesting idea. Counselling without bringing it to his attention. However, who will be able to get past the fortress that he has built around his thoughts and emotions? Friday we heard his pain in his voice as he spoke to his father, there were tears behind the words. Is there another person, or a qualified doctor who will be able to bring him to such a state of vulnerability that he reveals without being coerced?

@Kittya_Cullen - Actually I thought the mother may have a different view. As in I think she would look at everything just at face value and think that the mental distress that Yash is going through is due to his hatred towards Aarti and the solution is to chase Aarti outta of the house. This is my thoughts anyway. I am not sure how the writers will unfold this..

@..Apz.. - Initially, I did think that Yash may just be jaded from fighting all these battles in his mind that he will just grab any help that he can get. But if he is not able to even open up to his dad, I just think that maybe he is not ready to share all the feelings he has kept bottled up inside. Anyway, we shall see what the writers have in store for us! Though I cannot see how we can do the counselling bit without Yash being aware of it...

Well, I think I'll sit back and just wait for the CVs to know what they are upto. 😆 Its no point discussing what his reactions would be or what other family members would do now, because CVs have alwsys left us with amusement...
But I like the idea of APZ, of treating him without letting him know...

But still in confusion of what iis coming next. Just waiting for Monday to come and end this confusion...

@ akui1984 I agree that it is a possibility from her. However, I don't believe that she would think that only getting rid of Aarti will be the complete solution. As per her character, she notices everything regarding her son's distress, so I think if Papa S were to point out to her the different changes (since Arpita's death) in Yash, that she will accept the need for professional help.
