@Samana : You get virtual slaps from me for that dangerous assumption of Yash finding love outside this remarriage in Neelam or some other chick 😡😡😡😆😆😆...
On a more serious note , well its a very dangerous possibility 😕... thank god Yash made Neelam his sister because to b honest Neelam was able to bring out extreme emotions out of Yash which so far Aarti could not mayb because both connected over suicidal love 😕...
Even now Yash's behaviour towards Aarti is more of casual types .. he is still not feeling any restlessness or attraction for her .. he might care for her , respect her as a lifepartner but there is nothing more to it ... and this is where I wonder what will b the trigger point of Yash's feelings for her 😕...till now whatever Aarti did , Yash gave it the name of respect .. he was not really mesmerised with her gestures but only appreciated it just how a boss appreciates his employee .. so I wonder what action of Aarti will actually mesmerise Yash 😛

@Samana, so true. Which is probably the reason why most people who are parents and are single are so reluctant to introduce their prospectives to their children unless they are really really sure they are the one because heaven forbid, the child will get attached to the person but their heart is not in it. Ultimately, it is what the heart wants right? In Yash's case, Aarti is supposedly not what his heart wants..in which case, why should Palak get adjusted to Aarti and why should Ansh call him Papa?

Bua is just a circumstance here. Its clear she can influence their lives because they are wide open for any influence. Its the only reason why SP could put a condition on Aarti's stay too, or the fact that Gayatri could attempt to bully Aarti into divorce. Their marriage is not on firm ground. If I didnt know better, I would say they have made a mess of their lives by attempting this marriage but we do know that the pretty heroine and the hunky hero will fall in love so the torture is mitigated. Any other RL couple wouldnt have stood a chance.

I really don't like Yash's habit of blasting Aarti in front of family. It is totally disrespectful. He really needs to learn the word " privacy " .

Today's episode was good. There was no evil Bua in sight 😈.

- I loved the AarYa moment when Aarti was telling Yash about what's troubling her and when they were praying how Aarti gazed at Yash.
- The meeting with the principal went great too. I agree with Jyo that the scene wwas great because there were no OTT dialogues or actions in the scene. I was pleasantly surprised by the realness of the scene and Kratika and Gurmeet did a terrific job as concerned parents.
- Paridi's mom is not helping in matters. She came across as negative to me when she was talking to Paridi and then when Paridi left to go check on her clothes, there was this odd expression on her face that I can't really understand. Prateek is wasting his time tailing Paridi. He's driving her away by not being upfront with his parents about Paridi and her job. Paridi has more confidence to speak to them but she'd only make matters worse for herself with Papa Scindia and then she'll take drastic action because SP said no. What is Prateek waiting for? When does he think he'll have a great time to speak to his parents about Paridi's job?
- I also hope Jyo that what you think about Yash blaming Aarti as his plan to have the real culprit out herself is true and he's not just blaming Aarti because he really thinks she would do such a thing.
- I really appreciate how the CVs are handling the AarYa love track. Yash hasn't fallen for her yet and I like that there is no rush to get AarYa together (although I'd love for Yash to realize his feelings sometime by the end of August the way things are going). This slow and steady buildup is what's making the AarYa relationship more exciting for me.

@Zetter - Love your Michael and Nikita dp. Are you a fan of Nikita? 😊

@jyoti di
Thnq... 😊
Divyam has always proved his metal.. I really do like his acting..

@Samana di
Aahhh i dnt think its jz Bua's influence on Palak.. Yes, she calls Aarti as sauteli mummy bcz Bua calls her that.. Bt then Palak doesnt want to look at Aarti.. I feel Palak just believes wht she wants to.. N her negativity will hv to be handled and erased by AarYa bcz for me she cums out dat way.. Her heart didnt feel bad even a lil for Ansh seeing him almost tearful face and that for me is rlly rlly bad for a kid..

Today's episode was another good one in taking the plot forward. It starts off at school with Ansh going in front of the class to recite his speech. From the way he walks to the front of the room, you could tell that something is wrong but he goes ahead with what is written on his sheet of paper despite repeated scolding from his teacher. He was even subject to the same laughter he partook when it was Palak's turn. I think he realised at that point what it feels like to be the laughing stock of the class and even Palak felt sorry for him when he put his head on the desk.

The scene shifts to Scindia house with Yash and Aarti realising that they have finally succeeded in reaching the aim of their marriage by successfully having the kids accept them fully as their parents. It was a nice light moment showing that Yash and Aarti have finally started to reduce the gap and move more as a unit as Yash actually followed Aarti's orders without any kind of protest. I really love looking at their tiny motions that lead them to communicate without the use of words and Aarti getting caught staring at Yash was too cute.
Ansh and Palak are showing drawing pictures of their family, where Palak draws Aarti with horns and Ansh draws Yash with an eye patch, showing the hurt and disappointment they feel at being let down by their respective parents. A verbal and physical fight ensues causing the principal to call in Yash and Aarti. In his office, the principal feels that Ansh and Palak's fight is based on what they see happening at home and asks Yash and Aarti if they argue and fight infront of the kids to which Yash responds negatively saying that they understand their responsibilities. He then asks if there is a lot of love between them, Yash remains silent so Aarti replies affirmative. Yash's expression is priceless here as his eyes widen but once again their silent understanding prevails as Aarti signals him through her eyes and a slight nod. The principal then blames Aarti for Palak's behaviour as depite having promised the teacher, they have not seen a change in her behaviour. Aarti then explains Palak's stage fright and requests the prinicipal to give her another chance. Yash then asks about Ansh's speech and is shocked to know that he did not get selected as his speech mocked his teacher. He is given the speech to read by the principal and starts wondering who could be behind it. He also begs for a second chance for Ansh. The principal agrees but advises them to act with a lot of love and understanding around each other especially in front of the kids. Aarti agrees while Yash looks on.

Prathik following Paridhi is a sure sign of trouble in paradise as the level of trust between them is deteriorating which is a total contrast to Yash and Aarti who now trust each other more with each passing day. At Paridhi's house, her mother gives her permission to live her life freely and while she likes the idea, she wishes that Prathik was by her side to support her through it.

Looking at the precap I have a feeling or at least I really hope that Yash blasting Aarti is an act to uncover the real culprit. It is misleading though as Aarti's expressions convey that it was unexpected. Looking forward to tomorrow and hoping that it was a fake blast.

Aha...what a beautiful episode. The parent in me was a satisfied audience today. Each utopian belief of Aarti and Yash as parents was given a reality check by their children and the principal...and that was so required. They had to realize that they need to keep abreast with what happens in their children's lives and in their minds and what are the factors influencing their wholesome growth. Many of the things in life can wait, a child cannot...because his/her senses are being sharpened and honed today. Your child cannot wait for tomorrow...his name is today; her name is today. So whatever is going wrong has to be nipped in the bud and the extraneous factor that is causing the stunting of growth needs to be removed from the vicinity of influence.

A child's mind is the fertile soil in which seeds will grow; But how he'll blossom, and what he'll be, depends on what we sow.

Nobody is a born parent...A parent is born when a child is born. While parents try to teach their children all about life, their children teach them what life is all about...that it is all about meeting challenges that parenting tosses at them on a daily basis and that those challenges have to be met together. So, in that sense this is a rebirth for Yash and Aarti as parents. And as parents they faced their biggest challenge today. When they were patting themselves on the success of their remarriage, their parenting was being challenged elsewhere by their children...when they were congratulating each other on being a role model and a successful parent, their children were breaking the myth of that very mold. This is where they failed the most...they loved each other's children with all the purity of a heart, but they failed to inculcate that love among their kids...they focused more on being a father and a mother individually than as parents...which is a joint responsibility. And that crack was enough for bua to drive a wedge in and create a misunderstanding.

Palak and Ansh were two lost little souls whose beliefs were shattered. When they should have taken care of each other with love and care and sympathy, their acquired antagonism made them suspicious of each other and ultimately to each other's biological parent. When Yash was praising Aarti for having succeeded in winning Palak's affections, Palak was portraying her as a she-Devil who had come to hurt her little family. When Aarti was designating Yash as Ansh's superhero, Ansh was depicting him as an evil man with an eye patch who gave him only half an attention. Ansh was most hurt...the man who he had put on a pedestal had caused his downfall today. "How could you do this to me, papa? Why did you write such a speech for me?" And for the first time Yash lost his little son's trust. At that moment Yash and Aarti stood on even keel...being distrusted by each other's child. The children's hurt and disappointment led them to indulge in a very ugly verbal and physical spat...a scenario witnessed by the principal, who instantly summoned Aarti and Yash.

Yash and Aarti were stunned to learn about their children's ill-behavior. The principal was gracious and matured and pragmatic in his approach. He let the duo know in no uncertain terms that he wouldn't blame the children for this behavior, as their actions were only manifestations owing to an extraneous influence. He obviously questioned the behavior of the parents and their mutual relationship. Children learn more by watching than listening...in other words, value are caught rather than taught. Children learn what they live...if they live with hostility, they learn to fight; if they live with criticism, they learn to condemn. Parents need to walk the talk. Yash assures the principal that he and his wife don't fight and in fact are careful not to even have an argument in front of the kids. The principal is appeased at this information and concludes that then the parents must have lots of love between them... a statement that stumps both, but Aarti is quick to recover with a Yes, just so the principal doesn't probe farther into forbidden territory...and Yash can only look at her quizzically. Principal's words are a revelation that awakens both to some unpleasant realities. Yash is stunned to see his speech was changed...and he wonders who would do that.

This is their toughest test as parents...this is where their trust is going to be tested: whether the trust is strong enough to push the wedge out and expose it or let it drive in further to create a gorge where a crack was. Their children need them most now...together...as a team... as their self-worth and faith is at its lowest web. Hear their cries of help, Yash and Aarti...and be their parents and not just a mother and a father!!!

Parents need to fill a child's bucket of self-esteem so high that the rest of the world cannot poke enough holes to make it dry.

Aside:
  • Three instances of Ganesh puja: First, before they got married...they had to do the puja to pray for an auspicious start to their wedding. Second, Aarti prays to Lord Ganesh before leaving to rescue Yash...she not only succeeds after facing the wrath of a storm but also realizes her love for her husband and wins the heart of her in-laws...and thus we saw a new beginning in the chapter on Yash and Aarti's relationship...as friends. Third, today they prayed together for their new beginning as parents with complete acceptance from their children...there's a hitch to overcome still, but their resilience and intent should see them succeed in making this new beginning as well.

That's it friends. I love how the makers are projecting this problem. Parenting is no cakewalk...and Yash and Aarti are learning it the hard way. It needs cohesiveness and companionship and understanding of a very high degree. This is just a small taste of what can follow...It's not a one-time occurrence, and being parents is not a part-time job... parents are parents all their life!!!!
Great beginning to the week. Have a nice day all. 😊

Mrs. Lobo's replacement needs a lobotomy.

Below is an imaginary conversation between Mr. Lobotomy and Yash-Aarti. And LTH means Lobotomy talking to himself.

Mr. Lobotomy: Mr. Yash and Mrs. Scindia (LTH: Because no one taught me to say Mr. & Mrs. Scindia or Mr. & Mrs. Yash Scindia). May I ask a personal question? I hope you don't mind.

Y-A: Go ahead.

Mr. Lobotomy: In a week, how many times do you have sex, I mean, physical relationship? (LTH: Scindias are a respected family in Bhopal and you two have just remarried and set an example. I am desperate to know all the salacious details. So, please tell me.) Please don't mind. I am only asking this because it has direct impact on the growing children's well-being.

Y-A: Errmm...(Looking at each other)

Mr. Lobotomy: Please don't mind. When couples don't love and have sex, it causes tension between couples and they begin to argue and fight. And when the children see this, they come and behave exactly like that in the classroom. So, when you fight, do you pull each other's ears and call each other names?

Y-A: We don't fight.

Mr. Lobotomy: Please don't mind. And err...you didn't answer my earlier question. (LTH: My doctor pal at the local hospital had told me about your bedroom aerobics. I want to ask about that too. So, can you please answer this one first, so I can ease into the next?). '.

The End.

Other happenings...

1. Aarti and Yash count their chickens before they are hatched as they pat themselves on the back at the way their marriage is turning into a success as per their own definition.

2. The moments in front of Lord Ganesh showed Aarti being unable to hide her new found feelings for Yash as she stares at him as he prays and tries too late to avert her eyes. Yash, I think is beginning to sense the 'love waves' from Aarti and he does what he usually does in uncomfortable situations. Walk away.

3. More subterfuge from the youngest couple. Prateek follows Paridhi to spy on her and is relieved that she's going to her mother's home. But, the mother is turning out to be an enabler in Paridhi's subterfuge. Paridhi wants to live her dream and gets approval from her own mother. The mother is obviously prepared for all the consequences as Paridhi goes away to disguise herself. Very interesting developments.

4. Aarti turns into a she-devil in the drawing as Yash turns into a Johnny Depp with the trademark black-patch over his eye, with the teacher totally lost between the two kids.

5. The principal turns into a marriage and relationship counselor in a hurry. Aarti answers the difficult questions from the principal on behalf of Yash as well.

6. Yash and Aarti ask for another chance for their wards. (Is the division of labor agreement a legal one, as Aarti asks about Palak and nothing about Ansh and leaves all questions about Ansh to Yash?). Anyway, the principal reminds Aarti of her grand promise about converting Palak into a model student, who has apparently shown no improvement. There's no mention of Payal either by the principal or the parents, conveniently and sadly.

Episode One-Line Review: IMO, an over-curious principal-cum marriage counselor turns the episode entertaining.
