I'm here! š
Congratulations on the hot seat this week and I can see that you are enjoying yourself immensely! You totally deserve this for your incredible creativity and your sparkling wit. After seeing you in action on the PV forum, I can hardly believe you are the same, shy and intelligent person I met all those months ago. Of course you are still just as intelligent, but I am glad some of the shyness has worn off, because it just gets better and better as you reveal more of your creative genius.
Aw! Thanks. The first time I came across you on Afsar Bitiya forum I thought why does this woman has to say: The brown fox with speckled fur who lived in the forest that had so many apple trees that the forest smelled of apples decided that today was the day to remember that he jumped over the lazy dogs who had challenged that he could never do such a feat, so it was decided thus that on a beautiful field with tall grass that he would attempt this feat..šš
When you can just say that: The brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs. So it got to me to think that I've given up on my writing skills a long time ago and that my love for English was renewed again after reading your lovely numerous analyses.š
Also, I loved the name you gave me. Thanks.
How I came about that name is explanatory in my introduction of you above.
Here are some fun questions for you!
Hope I have fun with this and make you enjoy reading it too.
1. What are Aarti's greatest strength and fatal flaw
Her greatest strength is her tenacity. She will lock on to an idea and never let go until she is beaten to the core I guess.
Her fatal flaw is that she gives her power of independence for others to manipulate it the way they want to mould her.
2. What are Yash's greatest strength and fatal flaw
Dependability is his greatest strength. He keeps his promises.
The Fatal flaw he has is gullibility. He trusts too soon and lands in trouble without thinking much about the consequences.
3. Given the above, how do they complement each other?
Arti now knows that people are flawed and therefore she tries to reason with him to be more cautious in his dealing with outsiders from the family. This will have to work at some level with the family too at some point in the narrative.
4. Your favourite physical feature of Aarti:
Her eyes.
5. Your favourite physical feature of Yash:
His trapezius muscles. The muscles between the neck and shoulder.
6. Now imagine a comedy scene involving answers 4. and 5.
His back is turned to her and he tries to scratch this muscle and Arti notices that he is having difficulty to do so. She is nearby him and unconsciously she reaches and gives him a gentle massage on the trapezius muscle and he turns abruptly making her fall on the bed with his sudden movement. As she falls her feet kick him in the knee making him fall on top of her.
7. A romantic scene from anywhere that you would love to see picturised on AarYa.
I'd like to see how Yash changes his actions a la Darcy when he is shocked to find that Arti has the wrong perception of him. That he is cold and unable to care for any other living human being.
8. What is your favourite classic romance and why?
Count Of Monte Cristo if you can call it a romance, because it dwells on the darker aspects of love.
9. Describe, in all seriousness, the ideal man for Bua.
Bua should get a man closer to her age. Someone who looks younger in age and keeps her occupied with his various social activities. He should be a traveler where he can take Bua anywhere she decides to go. Bua is not made for to stay in one place I feel, until she has a child if possible.
10. Do you think Gayatri and SP love each other? Ever loved each other?
I think their marriage was arranged. I feel G3 loves SP very much but I don't feel that Sp loves her back that ardently. It is kind of a chore to be with her she does not interfere too much with intellectual discussions with him. Maybe he thought he loved her once but that was in his youth maybe.
11. Since we were on about plants the other day, what plants would Aarti and Yash be?
Arti is a sunflower plant.
Yash would be a carnation plant.
12. A book you would recommend to the following people (explanation if it is not obvious):
Gayatri: Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs
Bua: The Flying Dutchman.
Pankaj: The Fisher-Girl and the Crab.
SP: Frog in the well
Palak Hansel & Gretel
Payal: The Little Prince
Ansh: The Lion and the Thorn
Congratulations again!
Thanks once again
