@ Veena,

I don't think Yash is going to ask if Arati has signed the papers or not and do you think this big liar family will tell him any truth

I also don't think he is going to see the magalsutra, as she is not completely turning to him and as they are in the road, chances are there that Arati will just walk away. May be he will notice in the school meeting.

I know Aasha, I still have a bad habit of hoping things😕 CVs mere saare armaano pe pani pher dete hain😔
Let see how long they will drag this, I am saying drag because Yash is very intelligent and sensible guy maybe fragile but there are way too many points to overlook. And if he is not able to use his brain, its not his fault😛

Okay, as usual, I have another random off topic thought.

Why does Bua blame SP for not having her remarried? Wouldn't that job have been her father, and mother's (when they had been alive)? Since she is without children, I assume that she was widowed young.
Maybe SP tried, or like his own sons (Panku and Pratiek) was afraid to go against his father. In a way, maybe he thinks having his son marry a widow, will make up for the horrible way his sister was sentenced to a life of loneliness? Bua is irrational and bitter. And I think her anger is misplaced.
SP has quite a "fix it" attitude. He thinks getting Yash married to Aarti will rid him of his sorrow, and fix what was done to his sister many years ago. He thinks ridding Scindia house of Aarti will make things go back to normal (ie His son will obey him once again). He's very near-sighted. But I don't think he's exactly evil.

I wait for the day when Bua realizes that all this time she has been blaming the wrong thing. Its society, and society's treatment of women that she should fight against. Instead she chooses to revel in her twisted jealousy and anger, to take comfort in causing pain to others, and to contribute to those regressive views herself.
Maybe she hates herself for not running away when she had the chance. For not sneaking out and finding a man on her own, and leaving the Scindia's and their regressive ways in her wake.

*Edit: I liked the previous Bua better. Her characterization was extremely different. She also seemed young still, and I thought maybe Aarti would have gotten her remarried as well. Its never too late to start living your life😊. But this Bua is so cruel, and her harsh words and ways make her seem very old in a wasted sort of way. I don't think there's any redemption in store for this one.

@Veena,
I don't think they are going to drag it ...may be by friday we will see some more positives...like the young generation deciding to bring Yash and Arati together.

The interesting thing will be how they will do this? by convincing both Yash (as he is now angry the Arati don't want the relationship) and also senior Scindiyas, so may be next week we will see th eprocess of bringing them together and finally again AarYa together in the same place 😛

Haven't had a chance to read beyond the first page of the DC (as usual) but after putting some of my thoughts down, I'll go back and catch up.
Final thought after watching the episode: GAH, I love love LOVE this show! 😃
Moments I loved...
- Bua's ability to hit the target with her poisoned arrows - she IS like Shakuni from the Mahabharat, and that's scary. When she went to get the kangans from Aarti and had to force them off of Aarti's wrists, I liked that Aarti doesn't move or say anything. It looked like that act was hurting Aarti both physically and emotionally, but she didn't show it until she was in her room. Oh, I LOVE the camerawork and BG music during this scene, too! When Bua holds up the kangans, we see Aarti's face through them - I especially love the moments where each kangan surrounds one of her eyes as she looks at them.
- Aaarti's heart breaks, then shatters - Kratika excelled again, breaking my heart into pieces once more! The way Aarti was looking at her wrists and feeling them made me feel as though Arpita's kangans had become so much a part of Aarti (through them being a symbol of her relationship with Yash) that their loss is like having scars left behind...I don't know why that thought came to mind. The tears trailing down Aarti's cheek touched me, too...Until the divorce papers came.
- The world shakes and begins to crumble beneath her feet... - Fantastic camerawork here! I've seen lots of shots where the camera rotates around the actors, but this is probably the first time I've ever felt that the camera was actually shaking...I don't know if I imagined that, but it certainly felt like it was shaking as it circled around Kratika, who conveyed Aarti's shock and disbelief perfectly. The rest of the scenes regarding the divorce papers were excellent! Not going to take up more room talking about it here even though I'd love to!
- The toughest shell is starting to crack - Finally Palak says something about Aarti! And what a way to start! Thos colored clips, the sauteli mummy issue...But at the end of it all, Aarti IS the girls' nayi mummy, and that's what matters; Palak had to "correct" herself in front of everyone because that's how Gayatri and Bua described Aarti, but what automatically falls from the child's lips is "nayi mummy."
- I'm loving the way Aarti is starting to freeze up everytime Yash ji is mentioned, whether in the form of "Yash ji" or "naye papa" because she used to do that earlier when Prashant's name was mentioned...Like that phone conversation in Yash's room during the kidnapping, Aarti no longer responds to "Prashant" but is starting to respond powerfully to any mention of "Yash ji."
- Prateek finds his voice - Aah, I love how strongly he speaks to his mother! I think Prateek's assertiveness took Gayatri by surprise and she sees that as a threat...But even when she reprimanded him, most of the time the look on his face wasn't one of meek submission. (And did I imagine a flicker of pride in Pankaj's eyes at one point?) Looking forward to seeing what the younger generation does in the coming episodes!
- I'm going to take a moment to gush about how adorable that last scene was, so bear with me. While Yash was watching the mother-son interaction with all those pressing questions forcing their way out of the box he had stuffed them into in the back of his mind, I loved how Aarti was trying to loosen up and smile and find a few moments of happiness for Ansh's sake. That radiant smile would melt a million hearts...wouldn't it?
Throwbacks
- Yash dropping the pen before signing the divorce papers...Reminded me of: Aarti dropping the engagement ring when she didn't want to get married to Yash but was being forced to (more or less). Bua's comments brought back the Yash who kept repeating that Arpita Mantra - I liked the touch where he picks up the pen and signs the divorce papers with a vengeance and then strides off, not even caring that he had knocked some of the papers to the ground!
- "Mujhme hi kahin koi kami hai..." - Reminded me of: Vimla's taunts...AGAIN. God, this was such a painful scene to watch, along with the companion scene where Yash questions his fate of never being able to maintain a relationship...Painful, painful thoughts, but so, so beautiful, too. These wounded souls WILL find each other and heal together.
The variation in Kratika's expressions when Aarti mentions that Prashant left her (with a sort of steely recognition/acknowledgement) and then that Yash has also rejected her (this seemed like it was causing her MORE pain, from the way she squeezes her eyes shut and her voice breaks) was amazing. The more I watch PV, the more I am certain that after JKR, this role is going to be remembered as one of Kratika's best.
And now that I've said that, I'd like to think that the same applies to Gurmeet and his portrayal of Yash, but there are probably many out there who can take that call from a more informed POV. If Aarti's heart shattered, Yash's mind is not at peace - he cannot focus on his work even though he has a laptop in front of him (and he's on Aarti's side of the bed again...or is it Arpita's side? *sigh*) and the questions that he wants to ask are firmly dismissed by the assumption that Aarti herself sent the kangans back - what more is there to talk about? "Sab kuch pehle jaisa ho jaayega..." - but we know it won't! I think Yash may know this too, but he's trying so hard to believe otherwise.
- The precap...Reminded me of: that first Ek Duje Ke Vaaste sequence where Aarti's orange dupatta had brought a blinding burst of color into Yash's life. This time around, Aarti's purple sari pallu firmly covers up Yash's sideview mirror. From what I see, I'm liking that Aarti turns but Yash automatically moves to free the pallu...He stops moving when he REALLY sees Aarti standing there...And he doesn't seem to want to move, either. The first time around, neither Yash nor Aarti could see each other clearly. Now they can see each other, but...well, we'll find out soon.
EDIT: Posted this in the main forum too...

Hellooo everyone. I am yet to read everyone's take. Will do so as soon as I finish posting my 2 cents. 😃

Can I say I loved the episode today, that is after the first 10 mins of utter disappointment. I was hoping for Olympics style running match between Aarti and Yash with Aarti coming first place and Yash a second place instead was treated to Bua's ugliness. But anyways, Bua's thought processes (if you can call it that) gave us viewers some fodder to understand why she acts in this despicable way.

My heart hurt when I heard Yash say "It's okay. everything will go back to the way it was before". So sad! It is amazing how devastating self-doubt can be to your psyche.

But then my heart also shattered watching Aarti's utter desolation. Imagine having her worst nightmare being replayed again but this time with a man who was deserving of her respect, her trust and her love. Kudos to KS. She deserves to be hailed as one of the best artists out there today. Aarti's self esteem yet again took a severe beating today. But yet again she stands up to face the world. How can we not love this character? How can we not cherish her? And some time in the near future Yash too is going to cherish her for the gem she is. Okay that's enough gushing about Aarti from my side. 😳

We all kind of knew it since day one but the thing that came across loud and clear was, Arpita and Prashant are Yash and Aarti's biggest weakness. These two will always come between Yash and Aarti. The only two people who have the power to remove Arpita and Prashant from Yash and Aarti's lives are Yash and Aarti themselves. Rephrasing it: Yash and Aarti are the only ones who have the power to change Arpita and Prashant from being their weakness to being their strength. And for that to happen Yash and Aarti have to fall in love with each other--- No, not just respect or just friendship but love. They have to feel secure in the knowledge that they love the other person and that it is okay for them to love a second time around. Until such a time people like Bua, Gayatri, SP and maybe even Dubey will always be successful in throwing obstacles in their path.

By the way I totally loved how Yash was so not happy and jealous at watching Ansh and Aarti together. I also loved the question he wanted to ask Aarti: why wasn't he successful in proving himself to be a good Dad. Now that was a loaded question. I thought he was more like asking why she didn't approve of him still, not just as a father but him as a person, a man. Going back I remember how much her approval means to him. The mall incident, after he bowls he looks at her face gauging her reaction. 😃 Wanting desperately to clear her misunderstanding. Again gauging her reaction after he bought Ansh a gift. He wants her approval and today was like a slap on his face with what he perceived to be Aarti's rejection of their relationship. Oh boy! Is he in big trouble or what. 😃

@Borna: Loved your post and I am going to post my thoughts in your thread. 😃

Great post ⭐️. This part especially stood out to me. Yash is so totally hiding behind Ansh a little right now. His question to himself, when he was looking at Aarti, was so.. just, it felt so wrong, because I felt like he wanted to know much more, but then it felt so right, because Yash would deny the need to ask why he had been rejected. Asking that, even to himself, would acknowledge that Aarti means something more to him.

Like the whole kidnapping and getting shot thing was a chance for Yash to bond with Ansh, and for Aarti to start feeling for Yash, I think this separation will be an opportunity for Aarti to bond with PayPal and for Yash to start realizing/acknowledging how he feels.

@Kirthi: Just found time to read your take, and if you're posting this in my thread out there, I'll answer any comments you have there. I remember comparing Kratika to a gem among pebbles once...If that gem occasionally comes into sight and then disappears for a little bit when someone stirs up the soil...That's what her career seems like to me, at least when I remember some of the comments I've seen from the early stages of this show's production. There were those who saw the spark in her, who saw the brilliance that was hidden but was always there...And I feel that this show is giving her that much-needed boost in the public eye after that extremely impressive performance as Rani Laxmi Bai. I'm constantly amazed at the control she has over her craft (and the control she seems to have over her body, too!).
Aarti's like that too, isn't she? A jewel among rocks that may look like jewels but the real things are few and hard to find unless you know how to look.
*glances at post* Okay, I'm done gushing, too. Final thought: Gurmeet and Kratika are so blessed to be in this show together with people at the wheel who saw that these two individuals are more than capable of delivering nuanced performances on their own but also that when combined, they bring out that important relationship between characters so, so well. They just seemed to understand Yash and Aarti all those months ago...

Charishma, thanks 😃 and totally agree on that last bit.

A significant conversation from the past makes me feel that this separation is so important with regards to realization of Yash's feelings.

Yash tells Aarti on their wedding night that he feels, he is enough for his daughters at the moment but there will come a time when they need a mother more than a father. Well, he will realize soon with this separation that his daughters need Aarti. Period. Wether it is now or later is a moot point. The girls need her values, her strength and her capability to love unconditionally unlike the other members in his family. I think this would be a good opportunity for him to see what Aarti accomplished in a short while which was always outside the radar because everyone were so focussed on her obsession with Ansh. 😡 Today's hair incident was the perfect example. I think everyone (including Yash) mostly noticed her negatives rather than her positives. 😭 With this separation maybe Yash will realize she had far more positives than negatives.

I am actually very curious to see how the girls animosity towards Aarti/Ansh is going to affect Yash's perception of Aarti and the divorce agreement.

I liked the fact that today's episode focused more on Aarti and Yash's issues rather than the drama amongst both families.

Some of the noteworthy highlights of the episode:

Bua's use of reverse psychology on Yash hinting that he was hesitating to sign the divorce papers as Aarti is now taking over Arpita's place in his life. This hit the nail on the head and does the job as Yash is forced to sign the documents.

Aarti's world shatters yet again when she receives the divorce papers signed by Yash and she is forced to wonder if something is lacking in her especially since Yash and Prashant have two very different personalities. I love the fact that she refused to sign the papers and the fact that she realised that Bua had something to do with the whole incident as she forced the kangans off her hands.

Palak actually calling Aarti nayi mummy when Vidhi was combing her hair. This could signify that she too is missing Aarti's presence. I liked the fact that she also referred to Aarti as her step mom infront of Yash so that he is aware of the way his children see Aarti. She was also the first one to spot Aarti and Ansh having ice cream and for an instant it looked as though she wished she was there with them having ice cream as well.

Bua's true character also comes out in this episode as she is trying to break Yash's marriage due to the fact that her own brother didn't think to get her remarried.

Prathik standing up to Gayatri was nice and hopefully we can look forward to more scenes like this.

Yash wishing that he could just walk up to Aarti and find out why she wanted to break their relationship.

Precap for tomorrow looks really nice and probably symbolises that no matter what comes their way, their bond is meant to last.
