In the middle of exams, and am sitting here writing about this episode lol.
I have to say, I didn't watch. I usually take over an hour when I do, and gush about every single ArYa second😆
But yeah, I saw the preview part. The one where Palak points out "naye mummy".Yash's countenance was so...strange. He's definitely angry with Aarti. He wants to know what was his lacking as a father.
Riiighhttt *sarcasm*.
Yash wants to know where he failed as a husband. And that thought is the reason he hasn't talked to Aarti yet. Why he has let G3, and Bua do all the talking and explaining on Aarti's part. He probably was thinking along those same lines. It took so much inner prodding for him to ask about Aarti's whereabouts when he regained consciousness. He eyes were searching her out, but he didn't dare voice his thoughts. Why?
Bua's words about Arpita weren't unexpected, to him.Yash didn't remarry at his family's demand, he remarried because he wanted to. Just like he signed those divorce papers because he wanted to. Right now he is majorly conflicted, confused, and in pain.
I'm not sure its stupidity (or susceptibility to reverse psychology) that is fueling his actions, as much as it is a need to prove to himself that Aarti is unimportant. He is being a little brainwashed, yes. But its his susceptibility and willingness to be brainwashed that shocks me. No one can be that dense regarding their own parents. Christ, his siblings are looking on in shock. Shouldn't that tell him something?
Instead he looks angrily at the bhindi, and then scowls out the open car window to Aarti, where she is showering Ansh with attention.
How heartbreaking was that scene though? Palak and Yash. Both of them sitting in the car, shrouded in darkness. Palak turns and spots her "naye mummy", and excitedly points her father in A&A's direction. She looks on in jealousy. "Why wasn't my naye mummy there this morning? Why is Ansh getting ice-cream, and I'm not?" Did anyone even tell the girls that Aarti left??? I'm guessing not. Their feelings are not a consideration. Yash looks on in anger and...oh, I don't know. Its almost like he feels thwarted. Like he thought he had something, and it turns out he didn't. And he wants to ask why, but he's afraid to. So he rephrases his question in a way that will still get him the answer he's looking for, without having to delve any deeper into why the sight of Aarti so happy and giggling, when he feels like crap, bothers him so.
He signed the papers. He should feel relief, yes? But he seems more dejected than Aarti. Who had refused to sign them. With Aarti I sense more of a feeling of denial, and soon, resignation.
I don't know who predicted this situation. But its playing out before us. PayPal and Yash will be unable to go on without A&A. Palak will constantly be talking about her "naye mummy", who never yelled at her and told her bedtime stories. They filled a void that 3 Scindias weren't aware of. And now that its become obvious, well, its going to get interesting.
I wonder if Yash even realizes what he did in signing those papers. He obviously still has unresolved feelings. Does he realize what a major step he took? Aarti does, because of previous experience. But Yash, i don't know, his fear of disrespecting Arpita (in his view), is going to cost him a lot presently. When he wants to reconcile with Aarti it won't be easy. He inadvertently played around with her trust once again, when he chose to believe his parents instead of his own instincts. What a back and forth journey these two are going to have. 😲⭐️👏 It makes things fun.
Ps: Someone dropkick the entire senior Scindia clan. Seriously⭐️
