i agree with and also agree with the pace of show👍🏼
if they show only love story it will end in couple months😆
i think CVS is doing great job by showing the initiation of bonding between different relationships and how much difficulty arti will face in doing soo

I also don't understand why viewers are complaining since the Saas-bahu relation will obviously be explored if one is getting married. Moreover, here the Saas-bahu dynamics are a bit different because:
1. This is remarriage, so the relation will be complicated. The MIL will want to see a reflection of the prev DIL in her current DIL, if the prev DIL was an ideal and perfect one, which we know Arpita was.
2. Gayatri is used to controlling her DILs i.e Vidhi and Arpita. But now that she has got a new set of DILs, Aarti and Paridhi, both of whom are strong, have spunk and are not ready to bow down, it becomes all the more necessary to show how Gayatri manages these two. Aarti is respectful, a bit quiet, but she is firm and maintains her stance on any issue dear to her, whereas Paridhi is naughty, bubbly, is not used to being tied down and is smart enough to wriggle out of sticky situations.
My point is, though they are showing Saas-bahu, it is not boring. We love to watch Gayatri geting all flustered at the disobedience showed by her two new DILs.

Yup, agree with you all and nice point you made here (Vibhz) that comparisons will be made between Aarti and Arpita in the family and Gayatri has often used the taunt that "oh we never had a problem with Arpita, so why can't you get this right?" when she's talking to Aarti, and that's where the whole remarriage thing comes up. I like how they're showing us the reality because no one is gonna compare Prashant to Yash, but its the girl (Aarti) that is usually put to tests and has to live upto the family's expectations! (esp in this case as they think they've done a favor on her by marrying her into their family despite Aarti being a widow)

I think the potrayal of Gayatri is very realsitic. How much ever do we wish to do away the mil-saas dynamics from our real life and serials, it does exist and hence cannot be ignored...especially in a joint family setting.
I find Gayatri's and Arati's relationship very relatable.

agree with you...its important to show saa-bahu dynamics...& its not like other shows...i am actually loving the way story is moving...hope, the essence of the story will be intact... i don't want to watch a ''mills & boon'' story...& a ''saas-bahu'' drama is a big NO...

i personally find the show quite balanced post-wedding... they are showing all kinds of characters.. i'm usually not fond of saas-bahu.. but this show has a more realistic approach towards it... even i like the fact that they are not directly jumping to romance but showing every aspect of a marriage be it remarriage or otherwise...

I think it is merely a pre-judgment and a confusion in terminology. Saas and bahu mean simply MIL and DIL which is a common relationship, defined uniquely by the individuals in them, something completely different to the term "saas-bahu" in the context of Indian TV since the advent of Balaji/Kekta take over. So when people see a saas and a bahu, with some pallus on their heads, they immediately think "saas-bahu" the genre. But that doesn't have to be the case and isn't in PV at all. Aarti and Paridhi don't sit in corners and cry, Gayatri does not ever get her way and she is constantly ridiculed for trying to be a typical TV saas, from every end, sometimes by her DILs, sometimes by her sons and mostly by her own husband. Also, the regressive qualities of the Scindias are not held up as some sort of paragon but are constantly challenged by the new forces in their lives and the moving times.

I also think that viewers' might have different expectations if they are following GC from his previous show which was an entirely different genre. The thing is that here, Yash and Aarti have already had and lost that kind of "romance" and the situation they are in does not cater to it anymore. The romance in their relationship will come from learning to work together within the framework for the benefit of their kids. I know it sounds dreary but I think it is beautiful because it is so much less obvious. AarYa is happening when Aarti asserts her personality, against all odds. AarYa is happening when Daddy S tells Yash to get used to calling Aarti Arpita. AarYa is never going to be a wham in your face, all-consuming sort of romance. It will creep up on them and us, if the CVs keep this up, without us really expecting it. In fact it already is!

seriously...as rightly said even on the hubby wife relationship, we do not want an overly sweet romantic and dramatic couple...yearn to see the real life couples on tv who have disagreements on a lot of daily/routine issues such as eating and sleeping habits, children upbringing, cooking, spending time with each other, holidaying destination, in-laws trouble, sharing work responsibilities and yet know that they are soulmates who discuss take decisions jointly, have common interests of family in view and cannot remain angry with each other for more than a few minutes.

Very interesting post 👏👏
I think this show is not a typical saas-bahu story to b honest because here its more about how Aarti is trying to adjust herself post her remarriage in a new house where she has to encounter not just her saas but also her husband , then her husband's kids ,then her Jethani Devrani , her devar ,her sasur ...so basically her equation with everyone is shown which is needed in these initial episodes to build up a proper base ...
AarYa love story is of course the main aspect of this show and its going to come eventually but the love story will look more realistic and presentable only if there is a strong base for it ... thats why these episodes of Aarti's adjustments and disagreements with Scindia family r important to set up the base for AarYa love story later 😳
If they directly start with AarYa love story ,it will look incomplete and in the long run ,we might raise lots of questions ..so I feel CVs r making a perfect progress by first showing her overall adjustment in the family ,then with the kids and finally with her husband will b shown 😳
