Aarti and Yash's kids

I know I have been MIA the past few weeks and caught up with the latest PV episodes over the weekend. As I was watching, one thought occured to me : Aarti is not shown bonding with Yash's kids at all? Yash is shown to smile and nod indulgently at the clearly adoring Ansh.

Ansh is shown many many times either because he represents Aarti's helplessness or because he is an extroverted child. However Payal and Palak are almost mute spectators in the whole wedding. Its surprising given that they are the only reason the entire Scindhia family wanted the PV (incl Yash) and were never clamoring for a mother in the first place either. The couple of times Aarti has interacted with them, they have made faces and run away. Thats it.

Why didnt Yash want to bring his kids with him in the car along with Aarti? Also, when they get back home, why isnt he curious where they are and if they have slept etc? I know this is early days for Aarti at the Scindhia household but so far, the screenspace has definitely been skewed in Ansh's favor over the other two (younger?) kids.

Agree completely. We have little idea of how the 2 Ps live. Who do they spend time with? Who takes care of their needs, if their father is a distant one? Yes, from the little snippets shown from time to time, one can see that the older one is a quieter, probably a sickly child, who also misses their mother more than the younger one - a spitfire that one, but more friendly and pliable. The older one might be tough nut to crack.

I do think there has been an overdose of Ansh. There, I said it too.

Totally agree redeye..its almost as if Yash's kids are incidental..and I am unable to understand why. They are both ignored entities. The grandparents are too busy being themselves, Pratik's consumed by Paridhi, Pankaj by Vidhi and Vidhi by everything else. Yash is zoned off most of the time..so who if anyone takes care of them?

Hopefully Aarti sheds some of her laser focus on Ansh and spreads it to the girls because its obvious they are attention deprived.

The girls need motherly affection now that aarti is in the house married to yash, she should also share the love with the girls. They are lost without their mother so both have to help each other in bonding.

ansh is in the limelight because he is the son of the bride. its how the society thinks. nothing is wrong with a man remarrying and also have kids from previous marriage. but for women, its different... there is so much discrimination against women today still.
and also, the setting now will be scindhia house. yash's kids have been there all their life. the ppl there are their own who have accepted them. they know the rules and the way of life of the scindhia family. for ansh, he is the stranger. everything is new. and the mil already does not like the fact that he exists. as he result, everything he does will be criticized. and this will in turn affect his mother's r.ship with the family.
