@Samana and Jyoti: You have both made forceful points to me about why you are sure Yash sees and hears everything going on in his house. I do take those points.
My concern was more about his bandwidth to handle both things - his own preoccupations of Arpita, guilt, remarriage traumas etc plus the additional awareness of his parents and their demands upon the daughters-in-law.
I do so hope you are both right and he will start taking maters in hand from the get-go. His parents are not leaving him any time for wait-and-watch!
And I do agree that his style of handling things may not be aggressive, but he rather favours a style where he simply gets up and does his thing and no one is thereafter able to argue with him. I like that style, and I hope he uses that simple and straightforward dialogue delivery to once and for all end this trauma of separating Aarti and Ansh.

@Samana: I entirely agree with your frustration with Gayatri. I feel like banging my head on a wall! It is this petty kind of one-upmanship between saas and bahus that I hate. And I also hate it when someone else tries to make all your decisions for you.
Seriously, if I was the bahu in that position and the saas insisted that I should leave my child behind so I will not be distracted when I get to her house, I would without a qualm use a taser-gun on her!

I think Gayatri has forgotten what it means to be a mother. Selective memory loss or maybe she was not that interactive with her three sons and let someone else run interference.

@Mansi: Oh I am so enjoying dreams of that milan between Gayatri and the taser gun. 😍

I am surprised that Shobha went to Gayatri actually. Knowing the kind of reception her vinnatis have received in the past, I would think she would know better. She should just go talk to Yash directly and I hope she does tomorrow!

Aarti will listen to whatever the Dubeys say, but Shobha can sense that all this duress and all this loss of everything Aarti holds dearest, plus the awful Karz dialogue is letting her beloved daughter slip through her fingers. Blood or no blood, Shobha could never live with herself if Aarti hated her and hate her she does right now. They have turned an impulsive girl who wore her heart on her sleeve and followed her love, instincts and passions into a zombie who is cold and calculative. And taking Ansh away, even temporarily, would be the last straw. Aarti would be damaged beyond repair and unlike Dubey, Shobha knows the threshold of Aarti's capacity for compromise. And the buck stops at Ansh, as it always has.

Yash campaigned for Ansh once before and he will do it again. He better.

@Samana and Jyoti: Wouldn't it be great if Yash goes to his mother and says " Let Ansh come with Aarti. If he distracts her, I am there to look after him!"
That should shut the mother up!😃😉
Waise already the mother feels that Pratik is going to be a jhoru ka ghulam, now she may fear the same fate for Yash also.😆😆😆😆 But she deserves it!

Yash reminds me of a king or prince who let everyone talk about his decision and what his choice will be until he finally takes action and disregards all that discussion as background noise. That's my conclusion after reading all the analysis.

I hope I made sense.😃
