No she does not know ...she only heard half of the truth about how Dubeys had spent huge money for all the shagun and so she is angry that this was not told to her ..

she is unaware of the main divorcee lie ...

whereas Dubeys think ,Aarti knows it all and is fine with it

The Dubeys were hiding Aarti's divorced state to the Scindias and by hiding this lie from Aarti, they were actually gift-wrapping trouble and giving it as a surprise wedding gift to Aarti.

Now it seems that the Dubeys think that Aarti has seen the gift and she is ready for handling the trouble they have gifted. While Aarti seems to have no clue about the trouble wrapped up inside. She seems to be upset about the fancy gift-wrapper and the trouble the Dubeys went to gift wrap it... But little does she know that about the lie wrapped within the wrapper and how it is a much more cause for worry.

Ok I updated my take on page 1. 😊

I agree that Aarti's confrontation scene was a little too long and contrived when they knew how it was going to end. So much build up was not necessary for such a giant let-down.

Updated my take on Pg 1 ...plss read it all 😳

Few interesting points

1) The scenario is such that one cant blame Dubeys as well as Aarti here ...From a drama POV ,this is a perfect build up for the later episodes post marriage when this whole suspense and curiosity in between Yash-Aarti bonding will keep the interest intact 👍🏼...

2) One can guess Aarti's reaction to the lie in future if she could over-react so much with just a costly Shagun lie then obviously she is going to completely loose trust on all and break-down completely once she comes to know about the biggest lie spoken by Shobha and Mr.Dubey without her knowledge 😭...

3)Aarti can just hv some self-realisation later that sometimes one has to touch by force like how during puja she had to touch Yash's hand ...Is Yash drawing a conclusion that Aarti is characterless ?? 😉😳..So how can Aarti draw any such conclusion without even talking to him ?? 😳...

@Jyo: Haan, I just saw the whole episode, was confused during the episode, until the last scene... I have feeling after marriage they get to know and bohot bada misunderstanding hoga, CVs can't reveal everything now, they keep it to create a drama... During that Prashant might add more fuel to the fire... Since no way of his parents forgiving him when he called nor he can get Aarti, he might use other ways of going to court asking rights over his son, etc... In that time Yash can be a good chance to be in picture with support, but I think he might misunderstand her at begin as she misunderstood his intentions with the marriage...

@Jyoti: Actually I wish that the vidhwa/talaaqshuda lie had been spoken between the Dubeys and Aarti ...

... and I liked your prediction which you made by PM to me yesterday that maybe Aarti will then go and tell Yash that she cannot marry him after such a big lie ... but Yash may actually turn around and say he has no problems with her ex-marital status and will agree to keep the secret between himself and Aarti!

That would have been nice. The present twist is a bit too complicated I feel. The Dubeys think she knows, she doesn't know that she doesn't know the lie, and now if the lie comes out Aaarti stands alone and the Dubeys will wash off their hands?

@Samana: Even I was wondering about the point you have made ... how come Arpita's parents get the right of first haldi application and not Shobha? I've never heard of such a strange kind f rasam! Seems to me that it shows that Gayatri still favours Arpita's folks over Aarti's folks.

In that respect what is the difference between Gayatri and the other two gossipy ladies who were comparing Aarti to Arpita and finding every possible reason why Arpita was better?

Now thats a beautiful way of putting the whole Anti-Climax confusion which happens 👏👏👏

Dubeys actually ended up gifting the most costly blunder of their life to Aarti which she will hv to deal with later in her married life
