Yipee! One good thing happened today😊. I hope the phone convo of Arthi's FIL and Yash's dad that they muted over was actually him telling about the divorced status of Arthi and not something totally unrelated. 😕Because its been bothering me as much as its been bothering Shoba.

I read just the first para of your take. Have to go back to read the rest. I agree that the pace has been slow he last 2 episodes but somehow that didn;t bother me much. Whatever they show is in sequence and logical.They are only elaborating things that could have been cut short.If it were a movie then would not make sense but it is a daily show just starting and they would want to cover a significant part before marriage.

And remember what happened in Geet? They kind of went at a heady pace and then the story got over almost when Geet left HP after which it was like they had applied sudden break and everything suddenly slowed down a little bit too much. It was fun for a different reason of course. This story has lot of potential but we already know the path it is going to take. She marries Yash they have problems but then eventually they fall in love with each other. Of course the ex husband track too. But still it is kind of a fixed thing. So I think by defining this pace they are looking at stretching the story that much more. 25 minutes of 5 episodes every week is a lot of time.

And they have good actors and what they are showing at least makes sense to a normal viewer and of course the rona makes the poeple who watch serials for that reason happy.😉😆 So they are actually appealing to a wider audience here. so in a way they are being smart and prudent.

@Paro: My problem was not with the pace (which I actually love), but rather the lack of balance. I was explaining this on another post, that when you are studying for exams, you tend to reach a saturation point with one subject if you study it for too long, when new information stops being processed. Then you switch to a different subject to refresh and come back to the first one with a fresh mind.

That is how I feel about Aarti's story in the last two episodes. I have reached a saturation point where my brain is not meeting any new information about Aarti with interest. And I am not saying that there isn't new and exciting insight into her character, just that I am not able to get as excited and engaged as I might if it was interspersed with other scenes and characters.

See now I am craving for some Yash-exploration because we have been getting so much Aarti. I am sure it would be the same for the opposite scenario. So what I am saying is don't drive the Aarti story to the point where I would rather watch something else, just to lighten my mind. Intersperse Aarti and Yash scenes so that when each comes I look forward to it with a fresh mind, eager to know more.

Who is giving the CV of this thread award to Deeps now 😆😆 While yesterday we all banged out heads in this thread regarding the whole phone call precap ,Deeps was only one who said that it could b ROKA talks 😆

I had the same issue with last two episodes as well ...no problem with the pace ...but its the balance which CVs should maintain ...like so far we hv seen every small detailing of Aarti and Ansh relationship but we r yet to see similar detailed of Yash and Payal-Palak relationship ...so this is where I hope CVs put some light and show the father-daughters bonding as well just how they hv shown Aarti-Ansh bonding in happy as well as emotional moments ...

The cvs have also shown a contrast between yash's family & arti' family in case of yash I feel that his family is insensitive towards yash's loss they don't understand his pain but in case of arti her in laws know her pain about the episode okay I get it how badly ansh needs a father (personally I wont agree I feel that single parents a able enough to raise kids but because its a daily soap so its kind of acceptable) but I would like to see more of yash ka bonding with his daughters
