You know Aarthi being a orphan must have learnt to be wary of men from an early age...Many men tend to prey on young/single pretty girls..and Prasad later abandoning her must have added to her already low opinion of men.. Her reaction to that sleazy suitor in the mall was justifies .. Infact her MIL was predicting such reaction from her I think. She was worried what Aarthi would do when he was too much in her personal space.

You know I loved the way Yash reacted to his bro & bhabhi's miya-biwi banter at the dining table. It was a light moment and they showed it as such and didn't make it melodramatic by showing Yash becoming sad and walking off with sad music playing in the background...๐Ÿ˜† Like i said yesterday they are keeping the drama element just right without going overboard with it.

Aarti is such a tease... ๐Ÿ˜† ... I say the exact lines to my 6 yr old cousin whenever he comments on my dressing, "Taari gharwaari ne bol je aa badhu" --- Give all these comments to your wife ... ๐Ÿ˜† Only difference ---> Ansh sharmaoed ๐Ÿ˜ and hid in her dupatta... my bro gives me a big kick on my arse... ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ˜ก
I like the various shades they r peeling off her character every day...๐Ÿ˜ณ

@Jyo: Yeah, I feel that both of them have this in common. They both can she the basic truth in a situation and will only act according to that. Aarti's FIL is willing to give back the advance while Yash's family is ready to take it but these two are the ones that get to the bottom of the situation and do what is right. I think this clarity will help them in their relationship later when all the family crap and input gets too overwhelming but their respective tempers are also a risk and sparks are bound to fly as well.

@Anuja: They better reveal Yash's past soon! I am NOT ready for history to repeat itself. ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜•

But I am guessing they have already shot some sequences with the dead wife because they had to have taken those pictures of her and Yash, which he has on the wall, at some point.

I think we are seeing the story more from Aarti's perspective now as most viewers are female and they would want to establish a quick connection with the character before they got into the story. I must say they have succeeded! I already love Aarti to bits and pieces and the mystery factor is actually working to increase the intrigue of Yash Scindia. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Hello Shello Jiii!!
WOOH! Just finished watching yet another fantastic episode! It's so amazing how fast-paced they are.. seems like they really want to get into the main story but are treading their path carefully with some really interesting ways to bring out aspects of all characters.
First of all -- I love Pratik! YEP! LOL! He is totally the shararti one in the household.. carefree.. always trying to crack jokes even if it's in front of his Yash Bhaiyya! And the look Yash gives him after every marriage-related joke is ๐Ÿ˜† Too good!
Ok I need to get one thing cleared though -- Yash SINDHIYA or SCHINDHIYA? Yash and Aarti both pronounced it differently.. =S .. and the spelling please? If anyone knows it .. I'd love to know how to spell his last name.
Anyways.. so we finally get to meet Yash's entire family.. loved the dinner table scene.. as we can see Yash is a man of few .. make that NO.. words! He didn't utter a single word at the table.. perhaps that has a lot to do with his obviously reserved nature. Maybe when Arpi was there he used to be much more talkative and crack jokes too? Hope we get to see some of that when they delve into his past.
His Bhabhi (name? Keep forgetting uff!) and her hubby (again, name?) ... ROFL their banter was cute.. clearly the husband is just any ordinary man .. runs part of the household with his father (so Yash is pretty independent and runs his own business alongside his dad's eh?) and has these little light-hearted arguments with his wifey dearest every now and then but seems like a generally caring man. And then we have Yash .. then Pratik. So three brothers and no sister.
And then comes their father! Wow .. from the getgo it seems like he's the very strict kind .. but not so strict .. and is a businessman who seems to have morals and values. I think I've seen this actor before and he's a good one -- so good choice!
So they send Pratik .. worst bet.. over to Aarti's house ๐Ÿคฃ (What is Aarti's last name btw? Gosh I need to figure out these names!) and basically make him face the Ladki Gundi! Oops.. Hockey Gundi! ROFLOL! He seems to be a little careless.. and instead of dealing things out in a business manner he went for a spat with Aarti instead. And Aarti showed that she ain't no sehmi si sharmati bholi types either huh! Total opposite.
When she reached for the hockey stick and showed it to Pratik .. the only thing that came to my mind was "BACHKE REHNA RE YASH BABU!" If at any point in the future you do something to make he angry she will give you a good one! Clearly Aarti is also a hands-on woman .. she likes to deal with things the harsh way .. and her anger gets aroused really quickly.. More aspects of her character are coming out and I love all of them so far. But OMG I was just dying of laughter whenever Ansh repeated whatever Aarti did in that screaming voice! ๐Ÿคฃ How adorable yet dangerous! HAH! Pratik and his friend got the living daylights scared out of them .. and the whole "train karke rakkha hai" lol! Clearly Ansh has gotten a lot of Aarti's behaviour in him as well as the fact that she doesn't really stop him from anything.. the entire time he yelled she didn't stop him!
Yash-Pratik jodi is also cute.. the whole Pratik being so talkative and joke maarofying and then retracting whenever Yash gives him the death glare. Hehe =p
Yash/Aarti phone convo .. another exciting scene.. Yash being the calm cool and collected .. while Aarti being the loud and angry ladki .. he left her dumbfounded to say the least.. telling her they'd pay them yet signing off with a "You talk too much" ๐Ÿ˜†
Coming to Shobha and her hubby (again... NAME!?) .. I love Shobha really! Her hubby pointed out all the things society would point out and she states that she doesn't care a hoot about what they say. She cares only for her daughter and grandson and their happiness. And that's really how it should be at the end of the day -- care for your family rather than wonder about what the world will think of them! Because in the end you are the ones that live and care for them... and you're the ones who have to think of their happiness too. So I love that Shobha is overlooking all those stereotypes and thinking of Aarti's happiness so much. And her cute little gestures when she smiles and especially when she was telling Ansh to make Aarti change her dress. I like Aarti's style.. conservative yet she has her own style with the colourful kurta's and one shouldered dupatta =) Not too flashy.
The Ramudalal (sp? lol) prospective groom .. omg.. trust me we've been through the same... sometimes my parents go for someone for my sis and that person turns out to be way too old ..its not that there's anything extremely wrong with it.. just that they fear the age gap will create problems .. and most of the times it does (esp in this day and age) .. but the man looked totally unappealing .. but when he was giving lustful glares towards Aarti I was beyond disgusted.. he only went for her looks and how she pleased his eyes... I mean it hadn't even been 10 minutes and he was almost licking his lips in pleasure -- YUCK! ๐Ÿคข
When he went to Aarti like a despo in the shop .. I was like OMG what is he going to do?! And when he forced her to take her dupatta off and she slapped him I was like "YOU GO GIRL!" ... I mean yea slapping wasn't the best solution but in that case.. a slap is what he deserved .. really =/ But the way he insulted her in front of everyone =( And then attacked her for being a divorcee and saying he'd get many girls unlike her! Oh man .. my heart broke! And then they had to rush out of their in shame.. and he gave her a baddua (as if his words would be heard!) .. and this baddua will clearly never get to her because she will indeed marry someone! ;)
Glad to see Aarti is not the emotional types and was not dil doobofying and crying her heart out because of a pathetic man with pathetic statements. And we find out she is an orphan! That's makes so much more sense.. Shobha and her husband have been her life .. her actual parents ever since she got married. Who else does she have to call Mom and Dad other than these two? She probably gave them the most love and care during her marriage..
Train scene .. so they are headed off to the Dargah .. and Aarti/Yash have their first bump session in front of the lavatory ๐Ÿคฃ
I can imagine Yash/Aarti's future convo when they look back at their first "meeting"
Yash: Tumhe yaad hai Aarti .. woh jagah .. jahan hum pehle mile?
Aarti: Haan .. lekin mujhe usko yaad karneme koi dilchaspi nahin =/
Yash: Kyun?
Aarti: Kyunki humari pehli mulakat washroom ke samne hui thi.
LOL yes this was my pathetic attempt at humour. ๐Ÿค”
But that's a joke.. they'll probably remember the Dargah (that is.. if they bump into each other again!)
Precap: So .. Pratik is the one who gets their rishta talks going huh? Good goin Pratik lol.. but dekhna ye hai ki what will Yash/Aarti think? Because Yash's mom and Bhabhi already went and sat in Aarti's cabin! So .. gotta wait till tomorrow to see how far their conversation goes .. But they've met already with each other so this is really going fast paced .. I love it!

@Z...its SCINDIA and its pronounced both ways as SHINDIYA and SINDIYA...๐Ÿ˜Š The name belongs to a royal family from MP.

Yeah Pratik is adorable. I'm waiting to see more of his & Aarti's interaction post marriage...๐Ÿ˜ณ

@Z: I loved your take! My favourite bit was the observation that Aarti is not a rona-dhona type and did not take the sleaze bag's taunts too much to heart, as much as she felt bad about embarrassing her parent's in law in a public place. She is clearly a very mature woman and why wouldn't she be, having had to fend for herself almost her whole life?
