Custody battle for Ansh in the future?

Hey Guys,

Watching the Prashant scenes in episode two made me wonder...will he return sometime in the future and battle for custody of Ansh? He acted like he didn't care about the baby when he left Aarti, but men like him always return eventually for their kid once it's older to be of use to them.🤢 One of my friend's cousins went through this some time back, and she did win the custody case since she brought up the child herself without any help from her ex-husband, but I don't know the rules of custody battles in India. Do they tend to favor men over women?

Also, after Aarti marries Yash, would Ansh legally belong to him or Prashant?

I was actually thinking the same thing. But I'm sure Aarti/ Yash will win the case because:
- the mother usually wins custody of child unless he is being abused in some way
- this is a TV serial... the bad guy never wins 😆

AND this track could be a lot sooner than later... if Yash supports Aarti in the case... this might be where she falls in love with him... and then Yash eventually falling for her seeing her taking good care of his daughters

Aansh belongs to Aarti, never to Prashant. And after their wedding he will belong to them both, Aarti n Yash.

A father who was never present when the child needed him, he abandoned the kid when he was still not born can never have any right on the child.
They are even divorced now not that they are separated alone, but legally divorced. So I don't think at least on social, moral n legal grounds he has any right to claim the child.

But guess for the sake of drama we will see him come back.

yes he will return for sure
that is the only reason CVs kept him alive otherwise he wud have been dead like Arpita😆
once Yash n Arti will start to settle down in their lives, he wud make his grand entry😆
But on a serious note, i don think he has any firm reason to claim Ansh other than the blood relation
According to Indian Law, as far as i know, after Yash n Arti's marriage, Yash has to take the Gurdian/father's role legally with Arti's permission. then Yash will be Ansh's father officially.
Still if the biological father made a claim, the court will ask him to wait until Ansh become an adult because Child's wish is very much important in this case.
So most likely ArYa will win the case

Yup! Agree with you guys:) Yash will play the dutiful father and will never let Ansh slip away from Aarthi.. After the shaadi, Yash will definitely respect her wishes.. and standing up for Ansh might be one way in the show to make her fall for Yash! May be after all these dealings, Aarthi begins to trust him(Yash) and love him?!

*smacks her head* *wakes up from day-dream*

lol:)

Thanks, this is what I wanted to know!

Living in the US, I know US law for custody battles, but I didn't know Indian ones, whether they usually support the mother or father more, but I guess if one of the parents leaves the child, then the other parent has full right over him or her, in this case Aarti.

I also think Yash standing up for Ansh will be the turning point of the story where Aarti will fall for him...can't wait for the track.😃

Me and my friends actually discussed this parso😲 I think there might be one but it'll be useless. Prashant left them before Ansh was born, divorced Aarti and from the looks of it, didn't even bother for joint custody. He ran away from his responsibilities as a father so I doubt he'd have any rights towards Ansh. So basicaly I agree with Nandita😆
