Okay, so this episode was basically to show what are the reasons for Yash and Aarti to do punar vivah. It seemed to me that Yash was a bit more open to the idea due to his two darling handfuls, as it is not easy for a single father to bring up two girls in a joint family where the other members do have other responsibilities. Aarti seems to feel that as she is more than capable for providing for Ansh, that he needs no one else, while Yash realizes his shortcomings, but is sure that no one else can take his wife's place.
Hmmm. It seems to me that Yash's family is quite conservative. When the mother and bhabhi came in and saw Yash trying to comb his daughter's hair, the looks on their faces seemed to say that it was almost too shocking for him to be doing such a thing. Then the way the bhabhi insisted that she take the girls away, it really felt like they thought it was not right for him to do that kind of child care. I think it will be interesting to see how Aarti fits into this family, because her relationship with her mother in law (all we've seen of her current family life) seems to be not as conservative.
I think the lady in yellow was a sister? Her character seems to be being set up to be the household antagonist, and they seem to have given a good reason for that. What unmarried sister is going to be happy that her family thinks about her brother's remarriage, but not about her marriage?
To be honest, from what they've shown so far, I think that Yash is going to be the first to start having love feelings, even though he thinks that he can never love anyone else. To me, Aarti seems too hurt by her husband's desertion to easily trust someone again, while Yash at least has more pleasant memories. I wouldn't be surprised if Yash loves Aarti for a long time before he ever let's her know. He obviously thinks that no one can ever take his wife's place in his heart, and when that starts happening, he will try to resist it as much as possible.
Edit: Oh yeah, precap. Well, of course they couldn't have a good first interaction with each other. That wouldn't be interesting at all. I don't know why, but I have a feeling that Aarti is not going to have too favorable an impression of Mr. Yash, and that when he decides that she is the best woman to be his children's mother, he is going to have some work to do in manofying her.
