Why didn't the cops come a knocking?

The cops didn't come knocking at the Suryavanshi door, why? They knew Vikrant whisked Sarita off from right under the noses of those policemen, the news was telecast but the cops didn't think to come searching at the Suryavanshi home? Is it because they thought Vikrant would not hide her there or is it because they are lacking in smarts? Or perhaps it is because the CVs wanted to give the viewers that pre-cap? Whatever the reason, it doesn't make sense.

I wondered the same but we don't know what will happen in the next epi, its possibly they come there and don't find them. Precaps can be misleading

For us it is nonsence but cvs it is sence if humour ,,,,,,(which they only have)

maybe they thought that a person would never go back to their house as its the prime place of suspect, like we thought.
