You say that you have made your mind up and that you are committed to this relationship with me and Abhi.. and have moved on from Raj. What you feel for Raj is friendship and concern for his well-being. Though I have my doubt on the latter part of your statement, for the sake of this argument, I will take it at face value.
Even if I want to trust you, something holds me back. You say you are loyal to us, as a mother, yes, but as a wife, are you sure you can truly say that? Why I doubt you, you ask?
I guess it is the googly eyes you keep throwing at Raj. Those moments make me feel like an ass, who is unable to decipher the inner conversation that I am not privy to.
Or it could be the lies that you keep throwing into my face regarding any text messages or phone calls or clandestine meetings you keep having with him. Girl.. I didn't rise to the position I am at without seeing through lies and deceit. Politics at home doesn't even come close to the politics one has to face at the work place.
At one moment you are all over me, dancing with me without a care in the world, caressing me like you see only me, pulling me in for what I assume was a kiss and the next I feel like I have been dumped at the North Pole. You turn from molten lava to frigid icicle faster than warp speed. Either I have forgotten to read or have never learnt to read. Because all I can read right now are mixed signals!!
What do you want me to believe?
I urge you to figure out what you want. Do you just want to remain only as my son's mother? Do you want to work on our relationship?
I was fine with you being only Abhi's mother and share a close and love filled relationship with him and remain my wife only in name, so long as you stayed true to both the statements. But it is you who created the confusion, blurred those lines. And I need to have definite lines in my life to function.
Figure out what it is you want and let me know, before matters get from bad to worse, if it already isn't there yet.
