Prithviraj was a brave and ambitious ruler . he had defeated most of the nieghbouring kings. but he was unable to crush them compleletly.
Most of them were jealous of his rising power.(page 211)

Jai chand was defeated and killed by the ruller in 1194 A.D .after him his son Harish chandra rulled over Kanauj (page 213)

In olden times kings used to have more then 1 queen

yup munyr agreed with you a big living example is Ram Lakshman Bharat .....father & even Sita's father ...they both had 3 wives each!

yahhhhh its true in old time kings used to have more tha 1 queen but........ acccrding some Reseach prithvi had one wife and according some reseach prithvi had 2 wives

Ranchi University Det.of history (did reseach in prithviraj according this book prithviraj had two queens)

Book name is (Journal of Historical Research By Ranchi University Dept. of History)

We find the two queens of the Chauhan king Prithviraj, ... 1157, where we get
references to the wives of the brave aristocrat warriors observing
