i would trust the raso instead. 😃 ...i do not think that sagars would like to show prc marrying 7 wives as it is watched by all age groups.....but i do not think that prc was a love bird..in fact akbar had kept a policy in his kingdom to marry only onw wife..but himself had more than 200 wives i've read.... 😆 😆 😆

as said by dev it depends upon the individual..but i'd like to believe that he did have 7 wives..but loved Sanyo truly 😳

i feel that i would trust the raso more coz its a more reliable source
as for what the sagars are showing, this is television! so u can't show exactly what happened as it would be boring so they added in fun elements here and there so that the viewers would watch it.
i guess the sagars had not planned out the story well so they are stuck in the middle and are unable to show what the truth is as they did not start the story right.

how can you all believe the sagars version yaar... 😆

anyway The sagars are not showing PRC with 7 wives as they know their viewers would not accept the hero if they showed him with 7 wives… and this is right from the horse's mouth… 😉
In the opening credits they themselves have mentioned that it has been inspired from the Raso.. then on what basis are you trusting the sagars? 😛
Its like saying I trust the sagars ramayan but not the ramcharita manas by tulsidas.. (which is what they based it on) 😳
PS. I am not likening the raso to ramcharita manas in any way.. 😳

no i dont trust the raso completely too... but it is definitely a more bankable version of teh story than sagars yaar..

the other details about the conquets of his wars etc... might be exaggerated... after all it is written by his friend cum court poet...

but it has clearly mentioned that he has seven wives... and all kings glorious or not had more than one wife... all recorded.. be it.. akbar, chandragupta maurya, shivaji, dashrath - basically most kings you can think of...

akbar had many wives... (i dont know about the 200 bit) but ashuthosh is taking a movie on jodha akbar.. and he is not going to show akbar's love/relationship with the rest of his wives na..

on a lighter notw -> you must try and understand it this way..just like how it is impossible for us to digest that kings (actually even nobles and ordinary men) had many wives.. it might be very difficult for them to have imagined a bleak future stuck with just one wife.. 😆 😆 😆
