ishu and girl 2007 who told u that hindu girls used to cover their face.....no not at all..well i dont know the details but i'm sure they never covered their faces.before muslim rule princess were allowed to chose their king through swayamver.... it was not possible in parda pratha...because in parda pratha on hand they are hiding their daughter's face and on other hand she comes in front of kings and selecting one of them as their life partner...it is just not possible

exactly... its not there in hinduism... i have been telling this from a long time.. but .... the purda system came only after the muslim invasion of india.. they used take away the hindu women.. thats when the hindu women were stopped from going out alone.. it was done to protect them.. the women at those time had so many rights.. sometimes i feel they had more freedom that what v have now..
