Suryavanshi Rajputs??? - Page 2

wow!! so interesting things.. keep talking about this girls! 😳 👏

I am chatting with one of my chauhan friends in India.. He has an interesting take on this.. He is also a Suryavanshi rajput, he says Surya, Chandra and Agni are the three main clans of Rajputs..but..but they also have Agnivanshi subdivision in Suryavanshi clans.. 😕 😕 He said this is there due to interclan marriages among Rajputs in old times..hmmmm

ok.....i understand they exist..........

But........Rajputs in general.........are a subdivision of the Kshatriya Clan.........

The Kshatriya clan, itself is divided into three categories:

1. Suryavanshi
2. Chandravanshi
3. Agnivanshi (Same things as Rajputs)

Thus, if all Rajputs descended from fire, how can some descend from the sun.............that is very weird........cuz those who descended from the sun are suryavanshi kshatriyas.........and all rajputs came from fire...........

Maybe the person they descended from was named Surya or Chandra???

Like Rams dynasty was also known as the Raghu Dynasty, since the Dynasty had a great king named Raghu

Or maybe the sun and moon gods added some qualities to one of the four rajputs, while they were coming out of the fire..... and since these rajputs had their qualities, they were considered to be part sun-descendant....

Besides that, I cannot see how a Rajput can be called Suryavanshi and Chandravanshi..........

Cuz as far as I know........the Kshatriya Clan that descended from fire is known as "rajput".....

Well as per my earlier post, what i understand is the the point that all Rajputs have descended from fire itself is a myth. This myth is believed to be propogated based on AgniVanshi Rajputs belief. Also there is a point that we may always have a Agnivanshi subdivision in Suryavanshi clan(due to inter clan marriages)..

This whole concept does not make sense to me........

A rajput is a Kshatriya who descends from fire..........Kshtriyas descended from the sun have their own subdivision.......known as Suryavanshis (my subdivision)...

If this is true.........how can suryavanshi also be a rajput subdivision.......How can someone descend from both fire and the sun???

I am not a suryavanshi rajput...........i am a suryavanshi kshatriya.........but then again..........happy to see a fellow suryavanshi in the forum😛

NOPE.. Rajat is a Jat.. he is not Rajput
