prithvi raj chahuhan (1177 to1192 a.d)
prithviraj chahuhan was from chahamanas dynasty he was the son of someshwara .someshwara had extendented his empire to gwalior ,kannauj and to hissar and sarhind in west prithvi ascended the throne at te age of 13 years because of his minority his mother kamladevi looked after administration of the state for the 1 year .imediately after taking the regin of administration into his hand he had to fight against his cousin brother Nagarjiva thereafter prithviraj conquered parmadi ,in 1187 he attacked gujurat and later made a treaty with the later king
the first battle of tarain -
in in 1191 ad ghori captured sharid prithvi raj started with his armyto face ghori both the army faces each other in the battle the rajput fought with grat courage and bravery👏 👏ghoriattacked prithvi 😡but despiite of his injuries the rajput warrior made a furious attack on ghori and injured him badly👏👏 when ghori was about to fall from his horse 1 muslim sorldier stopped him and fled away from the battlefield the muslim army got confused from this incident and fled away but ghori was made a prisoner but later on prithviraj relesed him it is certain that runing away of ghori prithviraj again had his authority over sarhid
sanyogita svayambar-
in the mean while the relation of jaychand and prithvi raj grew worse .on account of old enimity jaychandra had not invited prithviraj in the svayambarand placed a statute of prithvi at the gate however sanyogita want to wed with prithvi on reciving such a news prithviraj had reached there in disguise with some of his frnds 👏👏when sanyogita proceed towards the gate to garland prithviraj prithviraj who was present there in disguise took her away and married her according to prithviraj raso "jaichand invited ghori to avenge himself of this insult"😡😡
second battle of tarain-
in 1192 ad ghori again attacked prithvi this time he attacked with bigger army prithvi had also mobolised a big army of 3 lakhs cavalary ,3000 elephants and infantry consisting of a larger number of soldier he mobilised such a large army with the help of 150 rajput king however jaychand and the king of gujurat did not help prithvi😡😡 .ghori sent a ultimatem to prithvi to either accept islam or fight with him😡😡.however prithviraj reply that a lot of blood can be prevented if he is contented with the area of punjab and sarhind .while the army of prithvi was resting gori treacherously attacked😡😡 but prithvi succesfuly replused his attack👏👏👏
the second day ghori played new trick😡 he sent a small army to face the rajput while rajput were busy in fighting against the army ghori other army attacked rajput from behind😡😡.rajput fought bravely👏👏 but failed to face sudden attack about lakh soldier were killed prithvi frnd attempted to take injured prithvi out of the battle field but ghori army made them prisoner they took prithvi with them to afganistan where prithvi killed ghori with te help of his frnd chander👏👏
sanyogita chooses to commit suicide before ghori can captured her she doesnt want to live without prithvi niether she wanted to return to her father who helped ghori against prithvi👏👏👏
