DOTW- Why historians hate prithvi? - Page 3

Prithviraj Chauhan was a VERY great & noble ruler...NO two wys about it...But,at the same time he committed many follies..It is said that "the path to Hell is paved with good intentions"..& THIS is pecially true for Prithviraj Chauhan..Prithvi,being the magnamious ruler that he was; easily forgave Ghori for invding his Kingdom & wanting to take it over..Which lead to his own personal & impersonal Hell..There is a degree of..arrogance in PRC'S decision to let Ghori go..He did not view him as a threat enough to do something about him..Which to me signifies; to a degree as arrogance on PRC's part..But,at the same time,there is NO denying the fact that he was a VERY noble,chivalrous & kind King 😳 😳 😳 ..It is FINE & DANDY for Historian's to sit NOW ;in today's age & scenario;& comment & expound on PRC's in-abilities 😡 😡 ..But,NONE of them would have been Man enough to do & go thru ALLLL that PRC did..Yes,PRC had a lot of his negatives..But,to over-look a person's Positives in favour of his Negatives is what I call a HISTORIAN 😡

The problem with Prithvi and his dad was that they were too trusting and good ppl.... this was their only fault... u cant trust ur enemy........u cant trust ur best friend, .... u will agree if u have read julius ceaser........et tu brute..... so i guess, their only fault was that they were little careless in estimating their enemies............ law of the rule... never underestimate ur enemy.......

Prithviraj Chauhan was a very noble & brave ruler 😳 just coz he lost one battle ppl cannot say that he was a bad ruler 😡 .even in my History textbook nothing abt him is given i went thruough d entire book,only 1 line abt Priyhviraj Raso 😡 😡 ,though i had one chapter abt Prithviraj-Sanyogita's Swayamvar in the 3rd std. 😳 bue many ppl like him a lot....especially after PRC SERIAL.. 😆 ..ALL MY RELATIVES & FAMILY,ESPECIALLY MY DAD PRAISE PRITHVIRAJ CHAUHAN A LOT....

yes, there are different schools of thoughts and different minded historians are part of them...the revisionists are the people who look at history from today's perspective and traditionalists look at history just after it happened....but yeah if you take any higher level history classes you will learn about the different schools of thought and historians...its pretty interesting if you are a history buff...

Indira Gandhi was never the best ruler of India, and she will never ever be...she totally messed up India...that is one person who I absolutely don't like with all my heart😡😡...she did so many bad things and I dont care that she was a woman PM cause it doesnt matter....Vajpayee was sooo much better than her...and PRC was one best rulers of India, he didnt play the whole political dirty game, he fought with you in front of your face....and if all comes to all, I would say that Sardar Patel was the best....but from old rulers, it was definitely Shivaji and PRC...comparing that evil lady to the great rulers of india is a sin....and all the historians who idealize her are just ignorant and playing the party politics game...

n plus...PRC paid no heed 2 what his trusted generals had to say....dey told him not 2 FOrgive Ghori 😡 ......BUT ...PRC Did....n i guess....thtz the biggest Mistake he committed 😭 ...16tymes Ghori commited the same Mistake....over & over again....n PRC in the end FORGIVES HIM...dude Get real!!!! 😡

very True......😭😭😭....therz hardly 2 lines mentioned bout Prithvi in r history textbooks😡.......i really pity the children who r learning history......coz...dey dunno what dey r missin out on.😭......n bout Gandhiji...1 entire thesis......so mch so...tht one can easily earn a doctorate degree (PHD) in Gandhisim!( i am not against Gandhiji.....he deserves the respect ......but PRC ALSO DOES)😳

I don't know much about the real history of prc, but only that historians don't have much evidence of most the things, and all they mostly know he that he ruled delhi and ajmir..he fell in love with sanyogita "And ran away with her"...and then "got deafted by ghori"

thats all they know..and those two points are twisted wrongly..making it look as..He ran away with sanyo..and he got deafted at the end..kind of making him look like a badie..
