Hai guys............😊

Well...I came here to tell you something about Ashoka.....which is also related to PRC.😉

Ashoka...one of the great emperor of India was called as Digvijay...as he was one of the few kings in this world...who never lost a battle during his life time.

He declared a war on the kingdom of Kalinga in which 1,00,000 soilders were died and 1,15,000 were taken as prisoners....😭 😭 😭

He won the war...but the blood shed moves Ashoka and brings a total change in him...and as you know...he followed Buddhism.

Our Legend Prithvi resembles Ashoka in this accept that Prithvi as soon as came on the throne started expansion like the king Ashoka....😉

As Ashoka was the only one who was called as Digvijay...😛

1.Prithvi did not go on Digvijay...😕

2.Prithvi must have failed in any of the wars if he undertook Digvijay..😭

these are my opinions...what do you think...please do reply😉.Any mistakes forgive me...😭

I had read about Ashoka in quite great detail. There are more historical proofs about stories of Ashoka than about stories of Prithviraj. Historians say that most of popular stories about Prithviraj are myth and not reality.

hey as far as i know digvijay is a word that the kings used for their kingdom expansion endevours

digvijay means that the king has decided to attach most of his neighbouring kingdoms under his rule and if the ruler has a prblem he has to face war.it was one of the most comman things in those days for really powerful kings to go on digvijay

krishnadevaraya a great king from south india also went on digvijay and expanded his kingdom far and wide, the pallavas, cholas and most importantly hoysala went on digvijay to expand their kingdoms

so its very natural that a great warrior king like prithviraj chauhan went on digvijay

tnx for the ionfo....i m agree to suchasa....that in that time kings of powerful nation go on expanding their kingdom under the name of digvijay.........in ancient time of Ramayan and Mahabharat...its called as ASHWAMEGH YAGNA in which the king doing this YAGNA send one horse with the same kind of notice and if someone stop that horse they has to fight with that king......
