ya.. there was a big uproar abt that. from many muslim leaders.. but that is the truth.. hindu history clearly shows us that purdah system was started to protect hindu women from muslim invaders. No where in our religious book is the purdah system mentioned. n rajputs were hindus..

yes..and they started sati custom too..bec. after husband's death, the muslims used to kidnap their wives..hence the "sati pratha" started to protect the widows from muslims.
